Ahh so it is, alrighty, cleaned up my MCP install, snagging the update now (updated, grabbing Modloader and PReader). Beta 1.1 will be up as soon as everything is squared with MCP and I get it uploaded. Of course I'll add it to the OP, just wasn't reading through the thread much when I posted last, I was mucking around with some new stuff that sadly won't be in the Beta 1.1. I'll also add it to my sig. Hope you don't mind if it waits until I update the mod, like I said, top priority.
NoProblem!
was just waiting for the update..
and oh have you seen the buddha koi.. they apparently spawn as tiny koi when you throw their eggs on ver. 1.01
For the road idea, would this be too modern for a road/path in 11th Century Normandy?
Yep, It's too fancy for 11th cent. normandy
It should be a dirt road but since dirt converts to grass it's useless.. :dry.gif:
I think a simple cobblestone or gravel road should be good, and no halfblocks on the sides.
well that's 11thcenturynormandy for me.. soo, Its all up to you! :smile.gif:
I am using 1.5_01 right now with 0.6.3c. I have a problem on my world where there is literally hundreds of villagers at one village even when it just says "9" This happened after I went mining, and when I came back there were heaps and I tried to kill them all, but some respawned back, and some didnt? is this a common bug?
java.lang.Exception: No more empty item sprite indices left!
NOOOOOOO!
Ironically, it loads Millenaire first, and as it's loading .... 23 item sprites... the whole time it's going 108 left...
Only 2 item sprites were added recently, right?
Yes, only the 2 amulets were added..
If it worked before you updated,, well maybe its from another mod that you updated. Or maybe its time to release an unused mod.. :biggrin.gif:
Several people on the Optimine thread seem less than enthused at the idea of the merger of these mods.
agreeing with this post please.. its also for experimental purposes,, since you added more things to optifog I have been lagging along with it. :sad.gif:
oooh... this could lead to the start of some kind of 'desert' survival mod.
Dead shrubs is the source of wood or something...idk it could be GREATLY expanded...
You have seen the future my friend. well, part of it .. :biggrin.gif:

I like mods that are simple but can do the difference.
For more features.
Just add XP for all other interactions with blocks.
Examples:
Farming Wheat = 1-2 XP
Terrain Blocks = Chance for XP like 1/8 chance for 1 XP
Getting Wool = 1 XP
...etc
Maybe further versions could include
Crafting items = XP
and don't go overboard by putting XP in each block you place. It can be tad annoying hearing that jingle sound. :biggrin.gif:
XP can be obtained from Everything just like most RPG games.
