    Once we get a few more of the now smaller bugs worked out, we can then start to iron out details like why this wont work with that. Is it a config issue, or something else entirely? please restate the issue so we can see and use spoiler/code tags to make it easier for us to view.

    I just want to take this moment to thank the fans of this mod for showing me that good mods do exist as well as a good fan base for awesome mods. Through all your support and encouragement From reading past posts on the original Flammarilva mod page, I never would have decided to get the ball rolling on this with armbrust and eventually having the pleasure of working with such a great team of motivated and enthused coders, texture artists, and our current thread manager 4f6f3b. We have put so much into this and we can only hope that you enjoy it as much as it has us to rebuild the mod. We will remain dedicated to respond to your requests, no matter how ridiculous they may seem to others and even if we decide not to add them. When we are ready with the next build we will start a poll for this thread for suggestions, and new content. Suggestions will include things like biomes, tools for archaeology and dinos and the possibility of a new dimension. Please be aware that some things do take time and may not be added when you want or even when we want them to be added to the games content. We hope to give you as close as Flamm originally intended and hope to improve the mod even further with the same theme intact......keep playing and let us know on the github if there is anything broken....

Having been in the programming business for 12+ years and programming upwards of 20 years, I know it's difficult to hear the same comments again and again when they seem to be negative (ie: bugs in your code), but let me just say this... and believe me this is as constructive as criticism gets.... the fans are only trying to help you out.

    You will get bug reports. You will get the same bug reports multiple times. The fans will never read things or look to see if the information has already been given or has already been fixed. No amounts of shouting, banning, blocking, or otherwise expelling will prevent them from coming. Take it with a grain of salt that the fans only want to help you guys out, even if you find it irritating. Coding for 8 hours straight? I get it, believe me I do... I went on binges of coding for 3 days straight years ago. I know that tensions are high when you've been doing it a long time to seemingly get no compliments and only bug reports... but trust me, it's a well known fact that the only criticism you will hear is the negative. The positive you will see through youtube videos, through downloads, through friends telling friends about it, and through help like these fans are trying to give you.

    Sure, maybe the comments aren't helpful, but at the end of the day it shouldn't be getting to you as much as it is. If you're to the point where you're snapping at people, you've been doing it too long. Take a break. Take a power nap if you have to. The mod will be there tomorrow... don't set deadlines that are too strict, and most importantly, don't post a public pre-release if you don't expect to get bug reports.

    Thank you for this post, yes and I agree that negative feedback is 90% of what we will get, but we have made many comments about the github repo, bug reports there please, and were very nice about it between this and the other thread. I dont think we were too extreme with the guy with the red text and the pest a page ago. However yes, it would be nice of us to hold our tongue, and yes there are many impatient peopl who want this. It was a popular mod before, and will be again. However, much of the code had to be rewritten, redesigned, and reorganized. This takes time, it may have been faster to completely rewrite it from scratch, but seriously GitHub was mentioned for a reason, to keep bug reports organized and to keep them from being repeated more than 20 times a day. We are checking this thread regularly and try to keep up. Together, Shadow and I have probably sifted through some 100K lines of code again and again in the last 5 days, yes we are irritated, and drained. So we may be snappy, we apologize for this as it does not look good on our part for sure. But we would like to respectfully once again ask that any bug reports be directed to our repo here, this helps keep things organized....

    yes I did, I said before they would be unnoticeable trying to keep things in perspective with the mod, however if you guys want some that are a bit more extreme, let us know....

    Yes, shadow and I have spent maybe a total of 80 hours between us in the last week and a half recoding the mod, fix issues and making it work right. this is like a full time job, of which I have and a wife and child, shadow too has much personal life and to continue to hear the same repeated bugs and issues is a bit annoying, that is why we have repo, please look at it, or read through the thread. stop complaining about the same bugs again and again....WE KNOW.....

    stop about the ships and academy.....we know, I am trying very hard to fix the issues, the water is gone now got them a little closer to the water too, but there are almost 60K lines of code you could have fun with too if you want?....

    The textures used on the white(I guess it's supposed to be bone?) armor are hideous. It really looks more like a wool cloth armor than bone or whatever it's trying to be.



    Please stop screaming in our eyes with this red text....yes the texture is supposed to be bone, this has been mentioned to our texture artist. Thanks for the bug report though, and please use our github repo to report bugs....thanks....anymore red text will result in post being removed....sorry but it is annoying and improper netiquette

    this is not a snapshot build, its for 1.4.7 and we are dropping the build week from the end of the mod title to end confusion

    As far as I know forge is universal, and shouldn't have to be installed in the server jar

And some general feedback...that same person is exploring an SSP world to see if all the mods are working together and so is flying around in creative mode...and has 4 ships close together: http://imgur.com/KbU0WEJ While I love the ships...they may be closer together than what you are intending them to be. :P


    Yes we know that they sometimes, more than we had hoped, spawn too close together

    It only has a gui for now, it was an unfinished item in the original mod from Flamm, and as Annysia said, we are discussing possibilities for it..

    yes this is true, we have a few things preventing it at the moment to load from a zip file....so just unzip and use the file path we discussed.
