posted a message on Nightmare mode survival!! Significantly more challenging survival experience!!

So I have a command block creation, which makes Minecraft significantly more realistic and challenging, actually feeling like a serious survival game.

    The changes to the game are as follows;
You mine significantly slower, even with a tool, forcing you to rely on explosives for quick block breaking.

Undead mobs (except Phantoms) do not burn in the daylight.

All mobs have more health, and have a faster movement speed, able to keep up with the player if they try to run.

You cannot eat raw or rotten meat.

All players must disable nametags in the settings.
    You cannot respawn.

This is a much more challenging and immersive experience, however, it is not for everyone, as some people are too impatient to cope with the slow mining speed. If you would like to try it out with me, leave a comment and I'll private message you the realm link.

I have a Java Edition version of this command creation as well, which is better than the Bedrock one, however I currently do not have realms on Java edition.

posted a message on Any way I can add a temperature mechanic to Minecraft?

So for my "nightmare mode" in Minecraft, I want to add a feature where staying in a cold biome for too long will start to slowly kill you, however, this can be decreased by wearing armor, leather being the best at keeping you warm, iron, gold, and diamond keeping you somewhat warm, and chain armor not helping at all. You can also warm yourself up by standing near fire, lava, a fireplace, or a lit furnace for a bit of time. Getting in water or standing on ice will make you freeze faster.

Staying in a desert for too long will also start to overheat you to death, which can be slowed down by wearing less armor, chain armor or no armor at all being the best for staying cool, iron, gold, and diamond being in the middle, and leather armor making you very hot. Standing on ice or in water will keep you cool. Standing near fire, lava, a fireplace, or a lit furnace will make you overheat faster.

So is there any way to make a set of commands to make this happen? Or at least something remotely similar to this?

posted a message on Minecraft nightmare mode! Minecraft is now much more challenging!

You have mining fatigue 3 at all times, forcing you to rely on generated structures and explosions for material.

Undead mobs (except phantoms) do not burn in the day.

Skeletons and Strays are now completely immune to fire.

All monsters receive roughly half damage.

All monsters run faster, especially zombies and creepers.

Most animals take less damage and run significantly faster, making it harder to get food.

Raw and rotten food will give you a wither effect, the severity depending on what type of raw food it was. Pufferfish will just straight up kill you.

You will have to think of smart strategies in this world in order to survive. May also require lots of teamwork.

Although this server is for Java edition, there is a Bedrock version as well.

Comment if you want to try it out.

posted a message on Minecraft Nightmare Mode!

In this realm, Minecraft is surely to become much more challenging, and scary.

You have Mining Fatigue 3 at all times.

Zombies, Skeletons, Strays and Drowned do not burn in sunlight. Drowned, however, will still not leave the water during the day time.

Most animals run faster, and have Resistance 1.

Raw food will poison you, the severity of the poison varying on the type of meat. Rotten flesh will give you a heavy poison effect and Pufferfish will outright kill you.

All monsters have increased speed (varies on the monsters) and have Resistance 3.

You must think of smart tactics and survival methods in order to survive in this realm.

Oh, and did I mention there's no nametags on other players' heads?

Comment if you're interested, and I will private message you and we can discuss it.

Hmm, Purple is repeating always active and the blue is chain always active

Actually, I found another way to do it.

/kill @e[type=area_effect_cloud,nbt={Effects:[{Id:11b,Amplifier:2b},{Id:1b,Amplifier:1b}]}] into a repeating command block stops the effect from appearing at all.

Yes I know, the text turned red for those 2, indicating that the command is invalid.

posted a message on How do I make raw food poison the player?

I want raw and rotten food to give the player a wither effect, which the length varies on the type of food eaten, and for pufferfish to just straight up kill the player.

There was an old way to do this, but it no longer works in 1.13.

Anyone have any idea how I can do this?

Do, (Color's represent types of command blocks)

    /scoreboard objectives add EffectNO dummy

    execute as @e[type=creeper,nbt={Fuse:1s}] at @s summon armor_stand ~ ~ ~ {NoGravity:1,Invisible:1,Marker:1,PersistenceRequired:1,Tags:["EffectNO"]}

scoreboard players add @e[type=armor_stand,tag=EffectNO] EffectNO 1

    execute as @e[type=armor_stand,tag=EffectNO,scores={EffectNO=10..}] at @s kill @e[type=area_effect_cloud,distance=..2]

    kill @e[type=armor_stand,tag=EffectNO,scores={EffectNO=10..}]

    I hope this helps!

The purple one and the second blue one didn't seem to work.

    This?

Just using that on repeat would render lingering potions completely worthless. I just want the lingering effect from exploding creepers to go away.

posted a message on How to disable creepers leaving behind potion effects when exploding?

I made creepers run faster and resist damage to make the game harder. However, there's an issue with this. Due to a new feature, when they explode they leave behind a lingering effect of speed and resistance, and I don't want this.

Any way to turn it off?

posted a message on What is at the bottom of the void....?
    Quote from Bill_Cipher»

There is indeed a bottom to the void, at y level -45631, you would stop falling as if you were standing on solid ground. No arm extension, no Y level decreasing further into the negatives. Nothing. Minecraft cannot make the void "bottomless" because it is impossible to make something "infinite" in a video game.

Oh really? I'm past -15000000 right now. The "bottom" seems to be much further than that.

The bottom is at -30000008. You get kicked from your game right when you hit it. Trying to rejoin will result in either you getting kicked again or your game crashing again in 1-3 seconds.

posted a message on One command creation idea. (for command experts)

I have an idea for a new one command creation.

When the command is enabled, you are able to craft a "revival heart", out of whatever the creator decides it should be made of.

This revival heart can be used to revive dead players. When they die, for 10 seconds after their death, a ghost is left exactly where they died at, and another player can attack this ghost with a revival heart to bring the player back to life by teleporting them back to where they died at, playing a sound effect and causing a particle effect (just to make it look cooler), and a text will show on the revived players' screen saying "You have been revived!". This also consumes the revival heart.

This might not be actually that hard to create. If anyone here would have any idea how to make something like this, that would be amazing.

posted a message on How to disable nametags in my server on 1.13?

There used to be a way to disable nametags, by adding a scoreboard team and changing that teams rules "nametagvisibility false", and adding all players to that team, therefore disabling all nametags.

However, in 1.13, scoreboard teams is no longer available.

Does anyone know a new way to turn off nametags?
