Ever felt that MineCraft was missing something? new armor? more food variants? Or more animals? Well this pack adds none of those... but what it does add is all four seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

All plants, trees, crops... everything is affected by the bright blossoming colors of spring, turns to a lushes green in the summer then slowly wilts away in the fall, and freezes in the winter.

I decided to make this pack after trying to find one myself but there was next to none... and the ones that did exist, didn't really bring the full capabilities that the seasons have to offer. I really wanted to see everything as far as sugar cane and potatoes change through the seasons, so I made my own texture pack.

At first being completely new to making resource/texture packs I started off using the default textures, but realizing that altering them and re-releasing them was against the rules. I dedicated some time to completely start from scratch. My main goal was to try and keep the style and color as similar to the default textures so that it blends nicely with the rest of the game.

Making this pack was a lot of fun for my first time(twss) and I'm pretty satisfied with what I've accomplished so far and also note that I will be adding a few more features to this pack which you can see in the 'future planned' spoiler of whats to come. I hope that many of you will enjoy this pack as much as I did making it. In addition I've made this pack to maybe help bring adventure maps to life, as well as time lapse videos of large builds.

I'd like to thank you all for visiting this page and downloading my pack, seeing how many of you have atleast clicked the download to see what its about and whether you've continued to use my pack means a lot. I'd never have expected hundreds of fellow Minecraftians to check out my work. I agree, but because its using the default textures as the base texture, just recolored and or for some, extra things added like blossoms on the oak and birch trees. Frosted effect for all flowers n such, still the base texture. Now theres a small chance they may reply and give me permission, but if not, ill work on a "from scratch" version. either way a seasons pack is coming. I've got some vacation time and with my hubby taking care of our child I can work on this.

Cool, just in case... I'm re-texturing everything, from scratch. Keeping it 16x16 and similar colors to what I had, but again from scratch. Thanks again.

Then try this:

Use you old model and add , "cullface": "up" to each face of the rocks.

1. Wow. This has never been suggested before.

2. I agree, seasons are a lot of fun.

3. But like so many have not said before,

4. Seasons would be very hard to run on average computers.

5. And at the end of the day, is it worth it?

6. We already have a snow biome.

7. And regular biomes work as spring and summer.

8. I would instead argue we simply need an Autumnal Forest biome.

9. Wouldn't winter only become annoying to the player?

11. Because if you create a winter cottage it'd only be used during 1/4 the game.

I challenge you to click on each link and read them all. Then, tell me how your idea is different and why I should support it when I chose to not support all the others. Why do you believe seasons should be added to the game?
