    Ok; Now I did several tests, one with the two mod, one with Forge and finally with vampirism only, and the verdict is that vampirism fails, when I charge the world with the pigman in front, it automatically comes to attack me.


    I don't know how vampire behavior works, but, I know that, I don't know what can cause the pigmans to act, I don't understand, ok I know I don't know anything.


    I will give you an idea, I create a world, I put a pigman, I put myself in survival, and he begins to attack me.


    This is not so serious, if no one else reports what happens to him, we must not investigate what might be, I may know that my minecraft has some error but it is nothing of the other world. If more people report having that problem you can investigate, you would help me but it doesn't bother me, only that it makes it difficult for me to kill wither skeleton.


    I want to add that they have already repaired the problem of MCA and there is no problem with the villagers and vampires, and there are also new villagers: D, they are immune to bites


    the pigman issue should be resolved in Vampirism 1.6+

    Night Safety - Since vampires can't go out during the day, everything is generally harder. It would be nice if it wasn't just other vampires that don't attack you, but all undead since you're a monster now too. That would make nights safer to do things in so it's more of a direct trade off. Night for Day.


    You can carry filled blood containers around. You still have to place them down to use them, but this should allow you to carry large amounts of blood


    Immortality would make sense, but e.g. the "keepInventory" kind of approach would mess with other mods and some server concepts


    Zombies should be friendly. Making all (or most) entities friendly would be a little bit boring as you wouldn't have many monsters left to fight then (there are no new ones during the day). Also, as a powerful vampire it shouldn't be too big of a hassle to fight them

    Unfortunately, this turned out to be a bug in MCA itself. There isn't much I can do about this.

    However, it should only happen, if a married villager or player child is killed though bite.

    First of all I thought I read that the MC Forum was closing down, but apparently it still exist.

    There is a config option in the main config file. unlock_all_at_max_level or similar. However, it is bugged in versions 1.5.1-1.5.4, but will be fixed in the next one.

    Thank you for reporting this. I think I found the reason it is crashing, but not sure yet. Will try to figure it out and fix tomorrow

    How do you dispose of an excess of hunters? Killing them seems to make them multiply (I could be wrong). Is there any way to relocate them? Does killing hunters affect my standing with the villagers in any way? Is there any config fix?


    Integration between Ancient Warfare 2 and Vampirism could have so many possibilities. If I became a vampire I would much prefer to eat the ancient warfare hostile human factions who have ganged up in masse to maul me rather than attack peaceful adorable MCA villagers. There are tons of human mobs in AW2. The Minecolonies mod also has hostile human barbarians. At least the bullies should bite-able!


    AncientWarfare2 makes the hunter attack their NPCs (because the hunter attack (some) players). Vampirism is actually innocent here.

    Apparently there used to be a way to avoid this, but it does not seem to be available anymore. I have created an issue on their repo to find a solution https://github.com/P3pp3rF1y/AncientWarfare2/issues/929


    Hunter do slowly respawn if you kill them or hurt to many villagers. However, if you somehow imprison them inside the village area, no new ones should spawn.

    I will look into possible integrations, but the NPCs system in ancient warfare seems rather complex, so it is probably difficult to get a solid result. Making some of them biteable should be possible though

    That being said though, at the time back when i had originally asked lycanite, he himself didn't know how to correct that issue because he didn't have enough knowledge behind the coding of your vampirism mod to create a fix for the conflict himself, something i know for fact you do have knowledge of Maxanier. --- Which gives me at least a bit of reassurance that you might be able to create a fix for the mod conflict within the vampirism integration mod itself - separate from the main mod.

    As that mod does not directly support third party biomes, the only way is to manually add it to the biome bundle.

    With OpenTerrainGenerator (used by biome bundle) you can configure your own biome. You could create one and simply apply the same configuration as the Vampire Forest has. I do not have the time to do that.     Hey, thanks for the suggestions.


    1) There already is a sunscreen potion as well as a sunscreen skill/action in the game. An umbrella would looks very cool of course, but I am not sure if it is worth the trouble


    2) The mod developer never showed any interest in a collaboration and I think it is dead now anyways

    Thanks for the report. Sorry for the delay.


    I'm not yet sure what exactly is causing this issue. Vampirism does not mess with the profession id, but only passes the one MCA or Vanilla have assigned to the villager. So I am not sure how Vampirism is involved.

    As far as I can tell the specific crash occurred when a Zombie Pigman killed a MCA villager (normal or vampire or angry) and the game tried to convert the villager to a zombie villager.

    So I assume the game just randomly crashed. Is this correct or can you provide more information about what led to the crash?


    Edit: I was able to reproduce it by just summoning a normal MCA villager and a zombie. Once the zombie killed the MCA villager the game crashed, so I am pretty sure this is bug in MCA itself.

    It happens after i installed Astral Sorcery, so i deleted Astral Sorcery and it still happens.
