I too think you should work together with seagoingmanatee to try and make this epic mod, because both of your mods are pretty much the same thing. But its your decision so don't think Im pressuring you (because I get that a lot :tongue.gif:)

I also think I could contribute some pretty cool Ideas to this mod. In my opinion with all this new over powered loot it needs more powerful monsters. Maybe some bosses or leveled mobs, or both.

Jeep: Pretty much a powered minecart but it doesn't need land and uses up more fuel. I thought that it could skip up one or two blocks similar to 303's longer legs mod. It would be crafted like this [] ( Or maybe replace diamonds with gold or redstone )
If someone can tell me how to make custom Item.pngs then I will make one but I don't know how to change the dimensions to make it look more like a jeep than a minecart
So looking through the Minecraft forums I relized that there are a LOT of threads about requests or ideas for mods, most get one or two replies and then die out. I want to create a single thread where we can all post Ideas and they might actually get noticed.
Here are a collection of a few requests the list will get bigger as more are made but I wont go any further into the past usless a request is made *wink*
I Love the meteorite Idea but I think that it could be much better.
No offense but it takes the fun out of finding diamond, You just walk outside and find some...
The only other problem I think with this mod is that you almost never actually see a meteorite falling. Shouldn't the meteorite make a big deal when it lands? Like make a Huge sound and a huge explosion, think of the yucatan peninsula...
I think that meteorites should be a very very very rare occurance compared to what they are now but it should be a big deal. The meteorite fireball should be huge (if possible maybe replace the ghast balls with lava) and the meteor should only spawn anywhere within 10-100 chunks of you and make a huge noise, It should also stay in the air for a good 30 seconds so that the player can spot it and search for the treasures within.
I think this is a great mod but it would be much better (in my opinion :tongue.gif:) with those changes
PS:I also think it would be cool if instead of dropping a random mineral it dropped moon stone(or a better name :tongue.gif:)
Something with the strength of iron or stone but a durability better than diamond...
