These are my designs for double piston extenders; one is 3x4x4 and one is 2x3x4 (but doesn't work as well). As I say in the video, someone may have made these already, I'm really not sure... Anyway, here they are:
Do strongholds or ender portals spawn in the Biosphere mod? I Googled it but couldn't find an answer, and I'm to lazy to look through the 1091pages of this thread for one.
As someone who, when it come to Quake, is a complete noob, (I've played the original, but that's it), I was wondering which game people like better: Quake 3 or Quake Live.
The Earthbound/Mother series (if you can even call them underrated anymore), otherwise, Super Mario Sunshine... Everyone says it's bad, but after completing all the 3D mario platformers (64, Sunshine, Galaxy, Galaxy 2), it's my favorite. Also, any game for the Vectrex!
10. Super Mario 64 9. Minecraft 8. Portal 2 7. Super Mario World 6. Half-Life 5. Pokemon Leaf Green/Fire Red (basically Pokemon gen 1 with the all the awesome gen 2 Pokemon. :biggrin.gif:) 4. Atmosphir (It's spelled like Atmosphir, not Atmosphere) 3. Mother 3 2. Super Mario Sunshine 1. Paper Mario: The Thousand year door
I used to play this game/level design thing called Atmosphir (It's spelled like that on purpose). I haven't played it in like a year, but today I tried to go and play it again, When I did, the game wouldn't connect (so I had to play it in offline mode). So I went the website, and it wouldn't load, and Atmosphir.com didn't show up when I googled "Atmosphir". Anyway, I know a lot of people who play Atmosphir also play Minecraft, so I thought I would ask here: did they shut down the Atmosphir website or the servers for the level browser?
The Gamecube is my favorite game system ever (maybe tied with the PC, actually, but my definitely favorite console). It had a lot of great games, and I'm glad to see other people think so too! :biggrin.gif:
So, I'm trying to make a Minecraft let's play series, and the video always comes out really fuzzy. I'm recording it with Fraps, and the video comes out fine, but when I open it in my video editor (VideoPad Video Editor by NCH Software) to ad the audio, it gets really fuzzy. If anyone is familiar with the software, I'd like to know how to fix this, thanks.
The randomness of that comes from the random number generator used internally by Minecraft to determine where the pressure plate will fly. This random number generator is not truly random, therefore this is not truly random.
An easier way to tap into this random number generator is to use e.g. .
Yes. If your computer could measure a quantum particle's state, and Minecraft was coded to be able to use that data as a seed for the random number generator that decides where items go, then yes, this would be truly random. But unfortunately, that's a little hard to do.
I'm not sure if this has been made before, and it's pretty useless, but I thought it would be cool to make something like this. So here it is, a big complicated mess of Redstone... and it does something, too! What it does is detect the strength of a Redstone signal (in other words, how far away it's coming from). It has two parts:The detector itself (which as you can see, is actually quite small),and this part, I'm not sure what to call it, but basically, it takes all the outputs from the detector, and only outputs the highest one.
So, heres how to use it:Connect whatever you want to the input... And thats it! Look at the output, it shows how far the signal went (read from left to right) in two block increments:So the signal in this example went 4 - 5 blocks before it reached the input.
Try running the game in compatibility mode for win xp.
The game runs on Windows 7, it's the two glitches I mentioned that I don' t know how to fix. But if you think it will help, I'll try, So how do I do that?
So, I got a copy of System Shock 2 and I couldn't get it to work on Windows 7. I searched on Google and found out that you have to run the installer with a special command (I don't remember what it was) in the command line, then patch the game with a program called "SS2 Tool" (or something like that). I did all that, but the cutscenes didn't play, and there was a glitch, where, when I try to select something in my inventory, it just uses the weapon that I have equipped. I used Google again, and found a fix for one of those glitches (this was a while ago, so I don't remember which one), It involved running a program from the System Shock 2 disk (or something like that. Again, this was a while ago) but it didn't work, because the program wasn't designed for Windows 7. After that, I kind of gave up on it, but I just started playing Deus Ex today, and it reminds me of System Shock 2, which make me want to play System Shock 2! If anyone knows how to get it to work, please tell me.

Is WLMM different from Windows Movie Maker? Because I don't think Windows Movie Maker works on Windows 7.

Interesting analogy, but yes. I really wish he would make this, though.
