    (Woohoo! Spring Break!

So, I think I've found my lil' bit of music for the Ultima Tournaments, and it's pretty sweet as it was made in tribute to the games that I've built John's world around, the CnC Red Alert series.

It includes cutscenes and such from RA2 and RA3 (mostly RA3) Don't question why the Japanese Empire is seen in the clips. It's the third side to RA3 because some "genius" working at EA Games thought it would be cool to add them in.)

The inside of the vehicle was quite unique. First, the whole vehicle could be operated by one person, and the driving station was located in the rear, while the engine was in the front. The driving station itself featured an air-ride seat and several consoles that wrapped around the seat 180 degrees. There was also a helmet on the chair, which had a visor of sorts. It did have a steering and automatic transmission for ease of driving. The consoles, as one may guess from looking at the images on them, gave the driver a view of the outside world on the front, sides, and even above of the vehicle from several, heavily armored cameras on the vehicle. A smaller console by the steering gave some basic instructions on shooting the turret, which were to 'look' at the target (looking at the screens with the visor helmet on) and press a button on the steering wheel. The steering wheel had four buttons total; two on each side. One of the pair of buttons on each side was larger, suggesting the smaller one to be a secondary one. The left ones fired the left side of the turret and vice versa. Right next to the small console giving basic instructions were two large grey buttons. One was labeled 'Custom' and the other "Default' with a picture of a missile battery. As both Chance and Zeus entered their IFVs, a laser scanned their bodies, primarily the weapons they had and the gravity packs they wore. Something magical happened outside, as the missile batteries for both broke up into several metal plates and reorganized itself into a totally different turret. For Zeus' IFV, an eight barreled, 20mm gatling cannon formed on the left side, which could attack both ground and air units. Chance got lucky with his and got two barrels on the left side of his IFV's turret. The first one was an 'A' gauge punt gun (The largest gauge ever for a shotgun. Fun fact: back in the 1800's, a punt gun can easily kill 100 birds in a single shot when hunting.) that would effectively clear swaths of enemy infantry. The second one, which was his secondary weapon on the left side, was a 60mm cannon for taking on light vehicles. On the right side of the turret for both Zeus and Chance's turrets was a pointy antenna with lights that glowed according to the Gravity Duo's gravity packs. The antenna, as one could guess from the lights, amplified the power of the gravity weapons to have stronger effects and to make them last longer. Osaku smirked at the other two IFV's before stepping into her own and closing the door behind. The turret's transformer panels rearranged itself to Osaku's specification, giving her a large Prism weapon plus an array of antennas and small radar dishes. Osaku got into her seat and put the helmet on before reaching for a radio within the vehicle. The helmet came with a mic, so she moved it close to her mouth and pressed the button on the radio. "What do you think of these things, you two? The IFV is one of the gems of Allied technology, capable of filling a variety of roles based on the occupant. Anyways, I'm filling in the support role. The stuff on my turret is capable of disabling enemy vehicles and electronics, plus, it can deflect guided missiles away from us. Pretty cool, huh?"

Chris led the Legion group that was able to come into the building. He didn't say anything, and certainly would not ask about the communist symbol on their gloves. He noticed how tense the group when he was outside. As everyone was inside the building, he reached in his vest and pulled out a box of cigarettes, pulling one out and putting the box back in his vest. He took out a lighter and lit the cigarette, bringing it to his lips and inhaled, making the end glow brighter until he exhaled smoke, calming his nerves. "Relax, friends. I ain't gonna do nothing to ya, but I do need your help." he said, walking to the employee's only door and leading the group through the small hallway. There were several doors on the left, and Chris stopped at the second one and opened it. It led to the mess hall for employees, except that it used to be the mess hall. Most of the floor was gone, and the ground sloped downwards to darkness. Around the tunnel were a couple of dead Confederation soldiers, with noticeable shotgun wounds. "After witnessing the second wave of those Confederation troops in this building, I questioned how they were able to arrive so quickly. After all, I never noticed an enemy transport come here. I thought that they either had more hiding in here, or they were coming from one place any of us cannot see: underground. I investigated the area, and I quickly came upon this." he explained, taking another puff of his cigarette and looking back at the group. "The Confederation cowards are known to use extensive tunnel systems in war, transporting soldiers and supplies with little risk around the battlefield. I have a terrible feeling that this isn't the only exit in the city that they've made. So, we need to figure out what they've got down here. Any questions?" Chris asked.

As Firion used his magic to sense what was going on within John's head, he would notice two personalities of some sort arguing among each other. Both personalities had a large presence, and the one not in control of John's body was filled with both anger and insanity. The fighting among the personalities were putting stress on his body, although John showed no signs of it on the surface, yet.

John continued to hold his head, though he heard no more voices. He heard Firion's mental message of concern only, but before he could do anything else, John started to see flashbacks from his past, mainly the horrific sights he witnessed ranging from torture rooms, Soviet shooting squads on innocent villagers, massacres on the battlefields in eastern Russia, anything that could paint the Soviets as monsters. One more image appeared before his eyes, and that was the small town in Colorado, with nearly every citizen dead and a few survivors, one of them being the seven year old Parker. John removed his hands from his face and started at them. Hatred started to fill him as he clenched his fists, his brows furrowed, his teeth clenched, and instead of trying to fight against the alter ego in his head, he now thought of every cruel thing he would do to the Soviets for revenge. "Gotcha!" John heard Fiera within his head, and his angry expression was quickly turned into a surprised one. His mind went blank for a second, and John fell over like a dead corpse onto the ground. He looked dead, too, but a closer look would discover that he was in a state of unconsciousness.

Within his mind, John woke up in the middle of a vacant casino, with empty card tables and slot machines around him. The room was dark and gloomy, and sad, undercurrent jazz music played from the speakers. Not everywhere was dark, as one light was on, illuminating a single card table. John picked himself up off the floor and glanced at himself to find he was wearing something different. Instead of his usual uniform, he wore a classy suit and tie that was a perfect fit; not too tight or loose. Not knowing exactly what was going on, he picked up his feet and walked over to the illuminated table, taking a seat on one of the stools. He looked down to notice an ash tray and a fine looking cigar already lit. "This is getting strange..." he said to himself, but with nothing else to do, he picked up the cigar and took a puff of it. He closed his eyes and exhaled, sending cigar smoke from his lungs and out his mouth. John opened his eyes, and behind the table was a woman wearing the exact same suit as himself. It was clear this was the exact same woman that John turned into after drinking the Mystery Mix awhile back. The woman smiled a sinister smile and looked at John. John simply stared back and took another puff his his cigar, exhaling the smoke from his nose this time. "So,what is this place, Fiera?" John asked with a cheeky expression. He could only assume that this woman was Fiera, the alternate personality within his mind. Fiera's smile vanished, and her expression was serious, almost angry. "What do you think, dumb ass? Inside your head." she replied, reaching into the pocket of her suit pants and withdrawing a deck of cards. She set them on the table, and started to shuffle them. John tapped the cigar over the ash tray, before setting it down in it. "Hmm, that explains that much, though I never really knew it was so depressing in here." he remarked. He took notice of the cards, but didn't question it a bit. "Do you know how I got in here? I remember everything turning blank, and then waking up in here. Did you take control of my body as you so desired?" he asked, furrowing his brows and frowning. Fiera continued to shuffle the cards for a bit, before stopping and looking at John, with the angry expression. "I'll answer your second question. No, I did not. See, I triggered those flashbacks, you know. After all, I am part of your wrath, and with you expressing one of the seven sins of man to its fullest, you became mentally weak enough for me to take over. Or so I thought. I managed to sever the connection between you and your body, but you still persist to remain in control." Fiera reached for the deck and passed a card to John, then to herself, then to John, and then to herself again, flipping the other card over to show a five of hearts. "Your body can't handle the stress of both of us fighting for control, and it fell into a state of unconsciousness, and it will remain unconscious until one of us gives up. I figured we might play some Blackjack. Best out of three, and whoever loses must give up fighting for control. Don't worry, sweety. I'll honor my bet." John smirked and kicked his feet up onto the table, ignoring the cards. "And what makes you think I'll honor mine, and what makes you think you'll be an honest dealer? It's my body, and I sure as hell won't give u-" John was suddenly interrupted by Fiera slamming her fist onto the table, and as soon as that happened, the sad jazz music stopped playing. Instead, the sound of rain and back round sounds of guns firing could be heard. "You stubborn mule! You can't afford to do so, because I sure won't give up myself! Your body will physically die before any of us gives up like that, and you have that mission to do, don't ya?" John frowned, for Fiera had a point, and then, in the speakers above, he heard Parker's voice as he yelled father. John's eyes widened up as he looked at the dark ceiling, the speakers playing whatever his physical body heard. Fiera heard this too, and started to laugh hysterically. "Oh! Ya hear that, don't ya? Your boy is up there all alone by himself, and so are your friends. I'll let you think about your decision for a bit. Just remember, whether its you or me in control, either option is better than being dead."

(I'll continue off with that little thing after you guys respond to John's group.)

Parker heard Firion's mental message as well, and looked down at his friend to suddenly see him stir about a bit. When he saw Jacques open his eyes and give a small smile, Parker felt as though a heavy weight was lifted off his shoulders. Jacques was able to sit up, but he was too weak and tired to stand up. Parker wrapped his arms around his friend, glad that he was alright, and shed some tears of joy. "You're fine! Thank goodness you're alright." he sobbed over and over again. "Thank you, Firion. I'm forever in your debt." Parker thought, though he doubt Firion could hear it. He couldn't do telepathy. Parker looked up from his friend's shoulder and saw his father, standing there with his fists clenched. Parker was a bit confused by this, but he did see his father fall onto the ground. Parker was shocked, and a heavy feeling developed within him, as if the worst has happened. "Father..." Parker said, before jumping back up and running to John. "Father!" he yelled, and he fell onto his knees as he quickly checked his pulse, which was fine, and his breathing, which was also fine. Parker turned his father so he lay on his back, and John's eyes (being wide open) were lifeless. "Help. Someone, I need help over here!" Parker yelled loud enough for the group to hear him.

Osaku stared at Duke and Sukina, sighing loudly. "Oh, how heart breaking." she said in irritation. She noticed the hammer and sickle on their gloves, and for a second, questioned who they really were friends with. Yet, seeing how John trusted the group before, and how the group killed and attacked their fair share of Soviet troops, she concluded that they were not allied with Soviets at all. As the group of Allied soldiers approached the group, one of them noticed the symbols and aimed his rifle at them. Osaku noticed this and sighed. "Put your weapon down, Private. We've procured those Soviet armor suits on a previous mission. We decided to give them a taste of their own medicine." Osaku lied. Due to her being the rank of lieutenant, the soldier believed her and set his weapon down, and the rest of the soldiers also made sure to keep their weapons down. One of them walked up to Osaku and withdrew a letter from his pocket. "Lieutenant Osaku, I've orders from Commander Bridges that you are to report to the central power stations to assist John and his group on their mission." said the soldier, giving her the letter. Osaku swiped it from the soldier and read it over quickly, then she crumpled the letter and threw it on the ground.

Not too long after staying in the building, Chris comes out of the door and makes his way to Osaku. He noticed the vehicles and looked at Osaku. "Hey, hun, whats up with these guys?" he asked.

Osaku looked up at Chris and smiled a little. "Well, it looks like we are off to the power stations. Poor Johnny boy needs some help, I suppose."

Chris gave a hearty laugh and looked at the allied soldiers again. "Actually, it's more like you are going to the powerstations. See, I discovered something inside that requires a big group, so I need to take those cherries along. You can let Chance and that other guy (Zeus) tag with you. After all, that'll be three of you, and there are three IFVs here." Chris said, earning a glare from Osaku. He walked over to the Legion group. "Attention, ya lads and lasses. Any of you here that isn't wounded or helping to heal the wounded should report within that building over there with me." Chris ordered, and with that, he ran off to the building where all the Soviet troops had been in before.

Osaku glared at Chris the whole time until he disappeared into the building. With that, she turned to the soldier and snatched a radio on him. She tuned it to a specific channel and without hesitation started to talk. "Guns, I need your helicopter over here by the wall. We've got wounded soldiers." she said. "I'm not a med evac, but I'll come on over anyways, mate." Guns responded over the radio. With that, Osaku gave the radio back to the soldier and walked over to Zeus and Chance. "Alright, you two. You're coming with me. We each get to drive an IFV." she said, before turning about again and walking over to the three IFVs, which appeared to be the six wheeled vehicles with the missile batteries.

"My, how generous of you!" Eric laughed as Minera mentioned on giving him a few diamonds. He didn't take the offer seriously, but nonetheless, he complimented, "Still, I must congratulate on your success in the mining field." He followed Minera and looked around her room as she began the tour. "True, not much to see, but," Eric said, looking at Minera. "you said you have a collection of interesting items in here?"

Scraps stood still as Juno sniffed the clockwork fox. After a bit, Scraps jumped into the air and over Juno, before running into Miner'a room and hopping on the bed.Scraps then looked back, seeing if Juno will give chase.

Zen readily accepted the healing potion from Sam, twisting the top off. "Heh, I hope so." she chuckled, before downing the whole potion in one go as if she was in an ale drinking contest. As quickly as it went down, she felt the burning, painful feeling in her foot disappear. The fur around her foot, however, was still standing up from the electric shock. With assistance from Eclipse, she pulled herself off the ground and stood up. She observed the strange man for a bit before noticing Erin and Endie in the corner of her eyes. "Oh, hey you two. Where'd you go during the fight?" she asked them.

(I'll get to John's group tomorrow, and Chris' group too if Term posts by then.)

(Well, I've certainly put off my small post it seems. This week was a busy one for me, as I've had to make up work and tests for two days of school. Adding to that, my sister managed to get a job at a fast food joint, and I got my passport application finished and sent out. I've also haven't been in the best of spirits this week, so I couldn't find it within me to do much except work. I'll try to have some sort of post (For John's group + Eric&Frends) before Sunday, and if I don't, feel free to spam me on Steam or Skype until I do so.)

Because of that, colleges won't be accepting these new SAT scores, so I gotta waste both time and money to take the ACT separately at a nearby community college, so, fluff me.)

(Robotics have been sucking my time away (My team does have a competition this Friday), so I'm unable to even get out a post for Eric, Zen, and Eclipse. I'll try my best to have one by Sunday.)
