(Yeah, sorry for the radio silence, everyone. Life has been hectic, with school coming to a close, work, and all sorts of things. Free time has become much harder to find, since there's always something major popping up. Not to mention getting things set up with university and all. I'm hoping that I'll have plenty of free time to get around here by the end of school or during the summer. I hate coming here with just an OC post when I'm months due for an IC post, but that is unavoidable at times it seems. Once again, I'm awfully sorry for my inability to get these posts out in a short period of time.)

(Well, I said I would have posted, but procrastination and applying for scholarships have kept me from doing so. Should be able to post soon. Also, I've been thinking about introducing another character myself, one that is sci-fi based. Been getting some inspiration from listening to a band called Starset. They're pretty great, I'd recommend anyone to give them a try.)

(Haven't played D&D, so can't help you there, Ulti. Also, I cannot get a post out until Spring Break in another week. Robotics eats up my time like a glutton at a buffet, and I have to keep my grades in good shape at the same time.)

(Pretty cool, Ulti. Meanwhile, I myself have been swamped with school and FIRST Robotics, so free time is pretty nonexistent.)

(I do sincerely hope you two get better soon and push on through, Ulti and Craft.)
(Anyways, I am finally back from my vacation. Lots of homework to make up, but it was totally worth exploring caves, zip lining over jungles, and making friends with a monkey!)

(That sounds goo d to me, Ulti.)
(On a side note, I won't be able to reply for the whole next week. Going on a cruise vacation with my friend.)
Eric simply shrugged and stretched his arms out, preparing for the machine. As the process of sterilization started and stripped him of his clothing, he suddenly felt vulnerable and embarrassed, despite the fact that Minera wasn't looking. Once the whole thing was complete, the clothing he wore before was returned to his body. The whole time, he felt strange that his clothing came off and back on without him having to go through the physical act of changing. Once the door opened, he stepped out with a sigh of relief. "Thank Icarus that's over with." Eric said, putting his hands in his pockets. He coughed to clear his throat and looked back up at Minera. "You mentioned Avians. So this, er, dimension of yours also has bird folk?"
Eclipse observed the woman as she appeared, taking note of her formal appearance. She also spotted the ring, and admired the beauty such a small item possessed. She cracked a smile as Selene inspected them, liking the compliments. Once Selene finally greeted them, Eclipse bowed formally with a warm smile on her face.
Zen, on the other hand, kept a suspicious look and her sight followed Selene as she was inspected. She smirked at her remarks, saying, "Dirty work is honest work. I'm proud of what I do." Once Mino mentioned that she was a thief, Zen quickly checked her pockets, still feeling the the few tiny copper bars that was currency of where she lived. With a small sigh of relief, she waved as Selene greeted them. "A pleasure to meet you, too. I'm Eclipse, and this is my lovely wife, Eclipse." She glanced up at the full moon in the sky, before returning her attention to Selene. "What a fine dress you have there! Did you mention a ball of some sort earlier?"

(That's pretty cool, Ulti. I've had mine for about three months now. If I must say, please be careful driving during winter. At least up where I live, the roads get terrible every time it snows, and the only roads that get plowed are the main highways.)
Trevor's scan of the tank provided some useful information about it. The hull of the tank compromised of two half-inch layers of a titanium alloy sandwiching a quarter-inch of boron carbide, a ceramic able to withstand the high temperatures of thermite. The driving crew was located in the front while the engines were in the back. The tank rounds were located right under the turret in it's own armored box. It was impossible to determine the type of tank shells as a large amount of electrical interference was messing with the scans at specifically the tank rounds. The armor was thinnest at the bottom skidplate of the tank, and it was the bottom where the ceramic layer was absent. It was also where the ventilation vents were located.
The fires of the tanks outside helped a great deal in rapidly oxidizing the steel hulls, providing a plentiful supply of rust. The Bulldog tanks also have many aluminum-magnesium alloy parts to aid in it's lightweight design. There were no emergency flares in the tanks, but that didn't matter because of the alloy parts.
As the main group made it to the corner office building, both Parker and Jacques made it to the top of their ten story apartment building, giving them a good vantage over the area. Parker walked to the edge of the building and observed the powerplants, bringing the scope of the Intervention up to his eye. "Geez, that's quite the force over there." he thought to himself. He knelt down on the ground and deployed the bipod on the rifle, resting it on the ground. "There's absolutely no cover to the plants, how will they make it?" he shook the thought from his mind and went prone, resting his cheek on the stock. He prioritized the machine gunners on the turrets since they were supplied with a massive amount of ammunition when compared to the soldiers. After they were gone, he would focus on the Tesla soldiers. "Only 16 rounds left." Parker wasn't equipped with enough ammunition to take them all out, so the remaining soldiers would be the main group's problem. Meanwhile, Jacques stood beside Parker looking through a rangefinder he held in one hand. In the other, a wind speed and direction monitor. "The targets are 257 yards away. Wind is blowing at about 5 miles per hour from the east." Parker adjusted the knobs on his scope as he received the crucial data. Once the corrections were made, Parker reached into his coat and pulled out a handheld radio. His father always carried one as well so they could communicate on missions. "I'm all set, father. Awaiting your orders." Meanwhile, Jacques scanned the area with powerful binoculars, searching for any Soviet or Latin Confederation counter-snipers. The area was clear, and he was about to put the binoculars away until he spotted three IFVs on the move, witnessing them take down two enemy helicopters. He wouldn't be surprised about what he saw, until he realized they were heading towards the powerplants as well. "Parker, come over here." Parker heard and stood up, still holding the handheld radio. He took the binoculars from Jacques and looked through them, spying the IFVs. "It looks like you got some help, father. There's three IFVs heading to the powerplants." he said through the radio.
While Arith was playing her song, John had dozed off trying to make sense of the whispers. The sentences that Fiera whispered suddenly became coherent. She talked about power over fire, regenerative powers, and endless rage against everything alongside the desire to burn everything to the ground. The final thought scared John, but at the same time, he wondered about its uses. "If I let Fiera take control, it would spell disaster for anyone in her path. Doing that before my friends get inside the powerplant would result in them getting killed by Fiera. It'd be best to do that when they get inside and out of Fiera's sight. I could take on those Russians then, who would most likely go after them if not distracted by someone else." John was hesitant about the wild idea he had. He questioned how long Fiera would take control, but that answer came to him immediately. "After Firion weakened Fiera, she'll be in control for ten minutes." It was as if he drank the knowledge with the Mystery Mix. Once Trevor and Rune talked about their ideas, John snapped from his daze and paid attention. "I think it's best if we combine both Trevor's and Rune's ideas. Thermite is a good method of dealing with the Tesla Soldiers, though I'm unsure what we could use as a distraction." As soon as John finished what he said, the handheld radio in his coat came alive as Parker's voice was heard. After talking about being ready and the three IFVs, John smiled a little. "Well then, we got our distraction and sniper. Those poor sods in those IFVs are probably gonna end up dead, but they'll have served their duty when we get those plants running." John pressed the button on the radio to reply to Parker. "Copy that, son. However, your orders will be coming from Arith." With that, John tossed the handheld radio to Arith.
Elizabeth wiped her tears away as Arith played the song. She stopped crying, although she still didn't feel much better due to survivor's guilt. She listened to the ideas and followed along, though she remained silent. Elizabeth looked out the window again, waiting for the group to take action.
The two vulture helicopters were taken care of rather easily. Zeus' gravity blasts struck his helicopter and within moments, it had fallen from the sky and smashed itself into the ground below. Chance's punt gun blasted many holes into the helicopter, as well as tearing the rotors into pieces. It wasn't long before that Vulture lost control and smashed into an office building, causing it to collapse and block the path behind them. It wasn't long before the three arrived at the end of the road, where it was blocked off by a pile of destroyed Bulldog Tanks. A small corner building to the left was collapsed partially, making a rough ramp to jump over to the other side. Osaku actually stopped her IFV near the tanks and hopped out. She gestured both Chance and Zeus to come out and follow her. She wanted to see what was ahead for them. She climbed up the rubble ramp and peaked over, seeing the soldiers and Apocalypse tanks surrounding the plants. "Guys, you better come over here and see this."
(I have to go somewhere this weekend, so I'll get to my Steampunk characters later. In the meantime, have an arc post.)
(Since you asked earlier Ulti, here's the specs for my PC when it's built: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core processor, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 Graphics with 6GB VRAM, and 16GB of RAM.)

(Happy New Years everyone! I'm slowly working on my post, so that should be out soon within the next year or so. In good news, I just received the graphics card I ordered for my soon-to-exist gaming pc. Just a few more parts to buy and I'll be good to go. Also, what kind of coffee and chocolate did you try, Ulti?)

(Making this post so none of y'all think I'm dead. Been too busy with school and work to even consider getting a post out. I'll probably won't be able to make one until Christmas break.)

(Crap, I ended up being a bigger procrastinator than Ulti.)
(P.S. Happy early Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you enjoy it with a big feast at home, because I get to spend mine at work.)
(P.P.S. I found this beautiful song that really fits Eric's world. Couldn't help but to share it.)
Eclipse listened to Sir Mino as he explained what lunite was while continuing to admire the brilliant patterns on his armor. Her attention towards his armor was interrupted when Mino made his offer. Eclipse wasn't sure how to respond, so she looked at her mechanical arm, using her other paw to roll up the long sleeve a little, exposing the lower arm of her mechanical limb. "Do I really need a protective cover?" she thought to herself. She certainly never found herself in situations that required her to protect her arm, and even if she did, the brass plates that protected the intricate parts within her arm were thick enough to take on most abuse. Not to mention that she wore her kimonos quite often, of which the long sleeves would simply cover up the protective cover, should she choose to get one. "A protective cover really isn't all that practical for me, but I really do want something made from lunite." Eclipse let her sleeve roll back down, and brought her paw up to her bosom to feel the amulet she wore. "Perhaps Sir Mino's smithy can replicate my amulet." Eclipse looked at Sir Mino and shook her head to decline the offer for a cover and instead pointed at her amulet to tell him that she wanted an amulet like hers to be forged from lunite.
Eric followed close behind, taking a gander at all the supplies she kept. Even though Minera surely had loads of supplies, the current amount was quite small when compared to the cargo on his airship. "Still, this is quite a bit for one crew member, I suppose." he thought. He stepped aside as Minera entered the sterilization chamber and observed from his spot, curious as to what she was doing. Once her actual clothing disappeared, Eric quickly looked away, blushing a bit. He didn't know that she lacked all the indecent parts of normal women since he averted his attention quickly. Once he heard her step out, he finally looked at Minera and noted her different clothes. When she told him that he had to go in, he took a step towards it and then looked at Minera. "Well, when I do go in, please don't look. If you became indecent once you went inside that thing, I'm pretty sure I'll end up the same too." he said, before stepping inside the tube.
(I'll be waiting for Craft to post before I make mine for the arc.)

(That's one massive gun. I want one.)
(Also, I just passed my driving test yesterday. Yay!)
As Rune scanned for transmission signals, he would find that the city was scattered with them, although they were mostly faint. The strongest signals came from the direction of the power plants, where strong Russian forces were presumed to be at. When John heard Arith's question, he stopped walkin, and nearly falling over, grabbed Arith's shoulder as support to stay on his feet. After a few seconds, he looked at Arith and cracked a small smile. "It's those damn Mystery Mixes, I tell ya. First you, now me!" He laughed a little, somehow finding humor in the current situation. After he stopped laughing, he continued to walk, still using Arith as support to keep from stumbling any further. "Firion's on the money. There's... something... inside my mind. Just know there's potential for me to injure or possibly kill all of you if it takes over." Further ahead, there were objects blocking the road. As the group got closer, the objects were several American Bulldog tanks that were destroyed, some of which were still on fire as the fuel inside still burned away. Some of the tanks were on their sides or upside down, suggesting the tanks were pushed into their current place. Seeing that there was no safe way to climb the tanks, John frowned and led the group to a nearby five-story office building. John let go of Arith's shoulder once they arrived at the entrance way. He withdrew his revolver and entered with caution. Once he made sure there were no enemies within the area, John proceeded to a nearby set of stairs, gesturing for the others to come along. Once he reached the top floor, John entered one of the offices and proceeded to the windows, which provided a large view of the powerplants. Throughout this whole time, John heard Fiera whisper incoherent sentences in his head, unable to make out what she was saying. He fell to his knees and braced himself on the wall next to the window. He rested for a few seconds, before peeking out on the window down on the area. He slammed his fist against the wall (although being weak from his perturbation, only a tiny thud could be heard) and cursed. "That's a lot of Russians down there." he muttered.
The power plants were of an odd design, being a large cylindrical structure at thirty feet tall with a hole on top of which a blue glow was visible. Three slimmer smoke stacks surrounded the center structure in a triangular pattern, being about fifty feet tall. In total, thirty power plants were present plus one normal building with several power transformers. The whole premises was surrounded by a twenty foot high, three foot thick concrete wall. Only one entrance was visible, and it was heavily guarded by Russians soldiers. While the general area sported several large groups of Russian conscripts, the group of twenty that guarded the entrance looked entirely different. They wore rubber jumpsuits and sported thick metal armor that covered their upper bodies. Even the heads were protected by a metal helmet that is attached to the armor. The helmets had a slit for the soldiers to look out of. On one of their arms was a large metal glove outfitted with a miniature tesla coil, of which electric sparks jumped from that to their back-mounted miniature tesla generators. Along with the soldiers, three massive tanks were present. The three "Apocalypse" tanks were about two times the size of an M1 Abrams tank, with armor thick enough to simply cause most small tank rounds to bounce off. On top, the turret of the tanks were massive, sporting two barrels and side mounted missile pods. The exhaust pipes in the back spewed black smoke from the large diesel engines needed to move the beast. Three large blade-like structures protruded from the front, which could be used to ram or push other tanks. The group would have a tough time trying to fight all of these forces, let alone protecting the engineer as well.
The Engineer accepted the metal ball from Trevor, curious as to what it does. He shrugged the question off and followed the group. Once they arrived at the top story of the office building, he looked out the window and turned pale. "Oh my... H-how are we going to get in there?"
Elizabeth gazed upon the tanks that blocked the path, and recognized that they belonged to the same company she was in. She knew that her fellow brothers and sisters lay within the metal coffins, and she started to become emotional. She didn't show it until they arrived in the office room, where after she glanced at the forces outside and the Apocalypse tanks that wiped out her company, that she fell to her knees and began to bawl.
The Confederation soldiers stood no chance against Zeus's Gatling cannon, being mowed down like grass on a lawn. The crazy stunt pulled off by Chance disabled both the gun and the vehicle in a single shot, rendering the Flak Track useless. The last shot of low gravity that was fired was enough to cushion the IFV from breaking it's axles, with the rest of the impact absorbed by the vehicle's suspension. After Osaku passed the now-destroyed flak track, she pushed the button on her headset. "That as freaking amazing, Chance! Though don't do that anymore. These IFVs aren't exactly the cheapest things in the world." she said. As they traveled through the city towards the power plants, two Confederation helicopters appeared from behind one of the tall building, flying over the Trio. They seemed to have heavier armor and equipped with missiles. Osaku looked up on the screens and saw them. "Uh, guys! I need you two to take those Vultures out." she ordered. The modified Vultures fired a barrage of missiles at the group, though that proved ineffective as Osaku's IFV's jamming module sent the missiles flying away in random directions.
Eric sighed, putting his hands in his pockets. "I suppose you got a point." He then smiled a little. "And thanks for the offer." Eric looked at the stairs with Minera, hearing what's left of the tour. "Yeah, I'm getting hungry myself as well. Let's continue, shall we?"
Both Zen and Eclipse walked outside, looking up into the sky at the full moon above. Eclipse was completely mesmerized by the moon, clutching her amulet around her neck and staring at the sky like in some sort of trance. While Zen thought the moon was gorgeous, it wasn't long before she looked back at Sir Mino and noticed the colorful armor. "Sir, your armor!" was all she could say, pointing at the wonderful images of space objects. Eclipse seemed to have heard as she broke her trance and looked at sir Mino's armor and noticed the colors too. She pointed at the armor with one paw and scratched her head with the other, giving the knight a puzzled look as she wondered how the armor changed.
(And that's everyone, I hope.)

(With all the school work I've been getting lately, there's no way in hell I'm getting a post out this week. I should be able to work on it this weekend though. Thought I'd give a heads up of my situation.)

(It feels like you've only joined yesterday, Jax. That plus the RP's third birthday sure do prove that time flies fast.)
(Also, I'm done waiting for Term's response to my arc. Once I get some free time, I'll continue off with John's and Osaka's groups. About time my arc finally starts moving again.)
