The most likely reason is that the Wardens/Alphas always put funny stuff in the ban to amuse the players online! A lot of times one of the wardens will ban a player and will say
Banned: Umad? Haxor! Bai, Bai! - Then they will put some random name to troll people XD
lets hope so ive seen this happen many times and it is funny but its usually 10 seconds you can log in, but it has been over a day and Im not known in the server very well by the guards or wardens. I do hope P0T is behind this at-least then he'll unban and share a laugh over my tears and paranoia Now that i think about it it might be a guard since i do guard troll a lot
Just going on about the idea for a guard block and i would like the idea of having an on duty and off duty mode for guards, but mines in guard block I would have to be against. Guards could have a sort of arena to pvp or a Colosseum where its 1 on 1 and armor and swords are supplied and its fight to the death winner earns money.
Its fairly simple and similar to the guard testing. There would be a fee to enter and once entered the server would set a bounty on both participants and the bounty would be accepted on the opponent. No items are allowed and inventory must be cleared before entering and the winner of each fight must stay in to continue battleling or suicide in the fire pits of the coliseum
there would be different tiers
one with a 100bp fee provides no armor, no sword, no bow, only fist
one with a 300bp fee provides Gold armor set (no enchants),iron sword(no enchant), some cooked pork
one with a 1000bp fee provides iron armor(protect I), Diamond sword, a few healing pots

Why you deserve to be unbanned: I didn't use any hack at all i was in the free world waiting for slimes to spawn from the slime chunk I found(wasnt afk). I was alone no one around me and no one told me i was invisible, as some people can be from a bug in 1.3, MrLobby was nowhere near me and didn't ask me to do anything. I have no hack or mod installed. I think this is a mistake as MrLobby doesnt seem to hate me or have a grudge against me.
Any additional information: I tried loging in to continue getting slime's and was surprised to see i was banned. I have no clue what Anti-vanish is nor will i ever want to use it.Please unban me as i want to cotinue playing on this awesome server it really is the only one i play on
OK I know I'm re-posting a little early but its because of the whole pointless argument tincmetals started and i have more to add to my appeal. I Googleled what anti-vanish was and found out that it makes people using a vanish command visible.
I still didn't use any hack or mod and my previous post is still true, however; now I'm not too sure on whether there was anyone else in my slime farm. There could have been someone in vanish and i wouldn't be able to see them but I cannot confirm or deny if anyone was there, as I am not even sure of the answer. I can however see why someone would think I did use a hack as i was looking at the one chunk from a distance and strafing side to side with a sword at hand waiting for slime to spawn. My slime farm isn't very efficient as its a 32X48X3 and there is only one slime chunk, so I tend to stand far from where slime spawn and look away from the chunk as the minecraft wiki states that mob spawn when a player is 30 or more blocks away i believe. During the last hour i played i was 30 blocks from the slime chunk looking away at the wall and doing other things IRL if i remember correct i was eating and watching TV at the time so i would look at the wall for 5 minutes at a time then check for slimes and return to staring at the wall. By doing this I only managed to get 5 slimeballs as sometimes slimes would not drop anything.
On a side not i was banned by MrLobby, who at the time was trainee, so I believe he wouldn't have access to the vanish command as to my knowledge only wardens and alphas have it. I was banned while i was offline since i did not get any warning before i logged off myself and later that day I could not log in and saw the ban. I dont know how a trainee could detect or check for anti-vanish since they can't use vanish and must spend most of the day guarding. As i said before on my previous post I believe MrLobby has made a mistake because he has no grudge or hate towards me what so ever and is neutral to me.
I have never, will never, or even plan on using a hack or mod. The only exception is me planning on using Optifine but i cannot for the life of me figure out how it works since I have never installed a multiplayer mod. Anyway thanks for reading this wardens as I am getting bored not playing this server.

I hate the trenchers more but for what reason that is escapes me. I understand people sure do get mad about it but it shouldn't constitute a 30 minute jail time. It seems to be some guards may get "emotionally compromised" as Spock puts it when stuff like this happens.
there is no rule against trenching, placing water, or drooping sand/gravel on players specifically but they are generally know to be against the rules even if its not present on the forum. As for the rule of greifing the mines it is to vague. I agree on trenching being a terrible and horrible thing but i don't think it should be a 30 minute jail maybe a warnings then a 20 minute jail but it is hard to say what is or who created the traps. For instance i dig 2x2 downwards in omega and I could dig all the way down and leave hole exposed so only careless people not paying attention fall, but someone can easily cover the top with nether-brick then camp in the bottom thus turning it into a trap. I think it'll be hard for a guard to watch for pvp and still see people creating traps in mine but there should be an official rule for trenching, placing water and drooping sand on people
i still don't understand why people want the guards demoted it makes no sense i have not witnessed any guard or tranie abusing this whole week. btw if guard are demoted then there short on staff and then frees with op stuff kill everyone and nobody wins. a shortage in gaurds will also result in wardens accepting anyone to become guard and allowing people to actually abuse while they're tranies (please never let this happen) and the boy who cried wolf gets killed by everyone.

i got a folder with lots of minecraft jar with different mods adn stuff...
i have backed it up i could go back to 1.2.5 but i rather try 1.3 and the new features in single player. hopefully it wont take more than another week to update i have been patient but i need change. ill bee back in 1.3 or when i get bored whichever comes first.
I'm still desperately waiting for 1.3 to occur on this server i know the many plug-ins need updating till they're stable and less buggy but, can we get a percentage on what plugin are ready so i can get a hint on when the last days of 1.2.5 are. I already want villager room mates to trade and bake cookies with. Im sorry to say im updating to 1.3 and will have to say godbye till later

I would also like to point out something else-
Yesterday the C foyer had been redecorated (like usual) I went down into the building and could not work my way out. Dangers was there too, in full diamond armor (i was in /kit guard) Soon a guy in diamond armor came down and tried to attack us, we hit him and managed to kill him. I picked up about half the loot (unenchanted diamond armor and a damage potion- I didn't really get time to look that was what I saw when I checked quickly- I realised that dangers had picked up the sword which was most likely op) after I had checked my inventory I closed it and saw that dangers had typed 'LOOT' and was standing next to me. He then left the guard faction and killed me with an op sword. I do not have screenshots of this but there were many people online when he left the faction and was almost demoted for not re-joining. The reason I am annoyed about this is the fact that I have next to nothing good. While he has op swords and diamond armor, I am still using /kit guard and trying to get enough diamonds for armor in the donor mine. (and enough exp for enchants)
I did not want to report this and I asked dangers a couple of times for the loot as I believed it was only fair, he said no every time.
i agree that this is bs that someone writes after having a bad day i've seen him guard he does a good job. while you did kill the guy guards are not allowed to give or sell contraband items. if you don't like dander then don't play when hes on don't try getting him demoted purposely since he is valued and appreciated guard by many.
