Every time I play Minecraft, whether it be on Servers, Singleplayer, Creative, etc. I have been getting a lot of lag when Minecraft loads several chunks.
Is there a mod that STOPS Minecraft from loading all these chunks?
This has been happening since I got Minecraft. The only way I know how to fix this is to change my Render Distance every time the lag starts, and it is getting annoying.
P.S. I have tried Optifine, It boosts my FPS but I still get tons of lag when lots of chunks are loaded.
When enchantments first came out for Minecraft, I loved them. I would always enchant every tool I made, but that was when I discovered that there are only a few number of enchantments
So, here are a few enchantments that I personally think should be added to the game.
Good Enchantments!
Name: Holy Touch
Can be enchanted on: Helmets, Chestplates, Leggings, and Boots
Enchantment levels needed: (Lvl 1)40-50 (10%)
Effect: Revives you from death. Breaks upon revival.
Notes:If you have more than one Holy Touched armor at once, boots will go first. Then helmets, leggings, and finally Chestplates.
Name:Soul Squeezer
Can be enchanted on: Swords
Enchantment levels needed: (Level 1) 10-20 (20%) (Level 2) 21-30 (20%) (Level 3) 31-50 (15%)
Effect: Gives more EXP from monsters.
Notes:Level 1 gives 25% more EXP, Level 2 gives 50% more EXP, Level 3 gives 100% more EXP
Name: Purifier
Can be enchanted on: Swords, Pickaxes, Shovels, Axes, Bows, Hoes
Enchantment levels needed: (Lvl 1) 5-50 (25%)
Effect: Breaks Monster Spawners very fast and gives you Diamonds in exchange
Notes: When you break a Monster Spawner with this enchantment, it will give you 1-5 Diamonds
Name:Carry Over
Can be enchanted on:Swords, Pickaxes, Shovels, Axes, Bows, Hoes, Helmets, Chestplates, Leggings, Boots
Enchantment levels needed: (Level 1) 1-20 (25%) (Level 2) 21-40 (10%) (Level 3) 41-50 (5%)
Effect: You keep the items with this enchantment even when you die. When the equipment breaks, it will give you back some EXP. Level 1 gives you 30 EXP, Level 2 gives 100 EXP, Level 3 gives 300 EXP
Notes: One monster gives 5 EXP
Not all enchantments will work though! Some will "fail" and it will give you ONE negative enchantment. You will still get your normal "Good" enchantments with it, though.
BAD Enchantments!
Name: Corrupted
Can be enchanted on: Swords, Pickaxes, Shovels, Axes, Bows, Hoes, Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots
Enchantment levels needed: (Level 1) 1-50 (1%)
Effect: Monsters will sense the evil power emerging from your equipment and will see you THROUGH WALLS for up to 20 blocks away and will attack you. Only works when you are holding the equipment or wearing it.
Notes: Monsters will still use their "Smart" AI and will take paths to find you.
Name: Soul Giver
Can be enchanted on: Helmets, Chestplates, Leggings, Boots
Enchantment levels needed: (Level 1) 1-50 (3%)
Effect: Every EXP orb you pick up, your armor will lose ONE durability for each EXP. Only works when you are wearing the equipment,
Notes: One EXP is not one Orb. Animals give about 1-3 EXP. Most enemies give about 5 EXP. The Enderdragon gives 20,000!
The dumbest thing I did in MInecraft was when I got super addicted to a server.
I had found tons of diamond on it and started giving them out until I really screwed up the economy.
From then on, everyone wore diamond armor...
Single Player Commands. It's way easier to install than Zombe's Fly mod and you can easily bind it and unbind it to a key.
You can also change the speed WITHIN the game rather than having to go to a config file.
When 1.8 came out, I was testing out the new Bow Mechanics so I built a 1x1 tower upwards about 15 blocks. I saw a creeper and decided to try and snipe him, but that's when I got an idea.
I planned on 360 No-scoping that creeper, so I first weakened the Creeper until one arrow would kill it.
I charged my bow, jumped off and spun my mouse as fast as I could, then let go.
I died when I landed and, but the death screen showed the Creeper and my arrow hitting it.
360 no-scope, LIKE A BOSS!
Good tips, but hiding your chests usually won't stop griefers. They will most likely use X-Ray hacks to find them.
A person on Youtube figured out a way to stop X-Rayers from finding your chests. Here's the video for it:
I would like to see another boss/mini-boss. Perhaps in the Nether?
But not a dragon. Maybe a Ghast with a Magma Cube texture that shoots like a Blaze?
But it should be completely optional to fight, so it'll be Neutral.

Try the seed out, the co-ords are where the Blacksmith's chest is and it contains
9 Diamonds
2 Iron Chestplates
And 4 saplings
Works in 1.2.4. Not sure if it works in 1.2.5 though
Not sure if this has been discovered yet, but my friend told me about this a long time ago and I never bothered to check it out until now.

It would break when you get revived though.
