And that is with a high quality psu. ( tried to match the components as best as possible. i think the motherboard is correct. It seems to be the only asus "deluxe" mobo )
If you are asking these questions, you shouldn't be overclocking.
You have to learn somehow.
And by this i don't mean you HAVE to learn how to do it. Just that if you want to learn about it, you have do it somehow. I doubt overclocking knowledge just magically popped into your head.
if you don't build a computer and buy that.... thing, you're more or less taking that $100, blowing your nose in it, and throwing it away.
My sister tried that. Didn't turn out too well. Instead, I would recommend splitting it into 2x $50 bills. I would use one for your nose and the other for your rear. But for some 1 sheet may not be enough. In that case i would split the $50 into 2x $20 and 1x $10 bill. 3 sheets should be plenty. I hope...
I really just am not into building my own computer. Id rather just buy one.
WHy is that? You have been told that is very easy time and time again. The last build i did a couple weeks ago took me 2 hours. And even then i went crazy on the cable management which takes a lot of time. so i could've done it in maybe half an hour it i was trying to go fast.
Man, am I jealous... So I just need a straight DVI to DVI cable?
The video card has 1 mini display port, 1 mini hdmi, and 1 dvi.
I would recommend using dvi. Just make sure your monitor supports it or else you will have to buy an adapter.
It can run skyrim ( with no mods ) at ultra settings and you get 20-50 fps. @ 1080p http://www.pcper.com...s-V-Skyrim-Ra-0
i would suggest runnning at high settings.
Also, make sure you have a dvi cable.
Yes it is compatible.
You don;t really need 8 gb of ram btw.( for gaming ) The settings you play at will not be intensive enough to tap into that much ram.
there is no "it's too powerful", that makes no sense and sounds entirely like a scam.
I remember you were scolding me for getting a pc that was "too powerful". And here you are saying that there is "no is too powerful".
As for sounding like a scam. it is up to the op whether or not he can be trusted. He simply asked if he could get the cpu and he was answered yes.
I will say that most touchpads suck, but the Touchpads on MacBooks are AMAZING! Can't say they're great for gaming, since they aren't. But for normal use they're awesome. Honestly I've considered buying a Mac just for the touchpad. It's that frickin awesome.
I (and many others) use a dedicated mouse with my laptop anyways so what's the point of a good touchpad? I only use it when my mouse runs out of battery and i can't find one. And yes it is a wireless mouse. When I am traveling a long mouse cord is not exactly convenient.

So?
If Sager started making desktops and they sucked would that make their laptops suck?
