Been playing since i'm 10, I love the SMP experience I've been in others SMP before because i really like the experience. I'm good at survival, not that bad at building or redstone, i can defend myself i guess.

Experience: I'm a chill player, currently own a server and looking for a chill realm where to play and expand my community. I'm good with builds and community projects.

This is an Exciting and Creative City Building server set on a exact heightmap copy of Earth scaled at 1:1000

That is more then 200.000.000.000 Blocks Big.
This map was created by Yotan over the course of 3 years.
Inspired by the original earth map created by salexp back in 2011 which had a size of 1:1800.

That map was used on this server for 3 years and had over 50 communities build upon.
The server has only 1 Goal: Build Beautiful Cities on Earth.
These Cities don't have to mirror real life cities and can be totally of own design.
With this new and improved earth map that is almost 4x bigger then the original map we are looking forward to see many new and old players join us.

The Server uses a whitelist that is updated 2-3 times a day, so you might have to wait a few hours after posting your ingame name before you get whitelisted.
All new players will start in the New Builders Zone (NBZ) a separate map from earth.

Here you have to claim some land and build something to proof you are worthy of building on Earth.
This can be anything related to a city, as the goal of the earth map is to make cities.
So Pixel Art and other such projects that have nothing to do with a city will not be accepted.
After finishing your NBZ project you can ask a moderator or admin to come look at your build and if it is accepted you will be reset and transported to earth.
you cannot take your NBZ project with you so don't build something to big as you will just lose it.
Once on earth you have all the time of the world to travel around and find a nice building spot.
All the major cities are marked on the map with a block of coal with a sign on each side stating the name of the place and a torch on top.

DO NOT CLAIM WITHIN 100 BLOCKS OF ANOTHER PLAYER!

YOU CANNOT CLAIM ENTIRE COUNTRIES SO ANYBODY ASKING FOR THAT WILL NOT BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!

While holding the Golden Shovel you can see in chat how much blocks you are allowed to claim.
Expanding a claim is easy, just right click on 1 corner while holding your Golden Shovel and then right click in the new location to expand your claim to that location.
New players start with a 500 block default.
This means you can either claim a 10x50 zone to use up all your 500 blocks or you can claim just 15x15 and save your remaining blocks for later.
Every hour players get an additional 200 blocks so the more time spend playing on the server will get you more land to claim.

However using something to stay online while your not playing like an anti afk program will not be allowed.
Claiming isn't limited to 1 zone, you can claim a spot in Russia and another 1 in the USA, there is no limit to the amount of zones you can claim, your limited by the blocks you have.
Claiming blocks work in a flat radius.
Golden Shovel: allows you to claim land and see how much claim blocks you have left.
Stick: right clicking the ground allows you to see who claimed that piece of land.

To truly show off the scale of this map we are not using a warp or teleport system, we are using a custom made train system.
The train system runs from city to city and will spawn the entire map.
Because we are still in the process of laying the tracks it is a bit more difficult to get around for now but life isn't always easy.

After getting promoted to Earth you can use the 6 limited warps (1 on each continent) until the railways are finished.
The trains run at about 2 times the flying speed, so you can fly if you prefer that, however to fly from LA to NYC would take close to 10 minutes while by train only 5
You can spawn a train at a station by simply walking on the pressure plate at the station platform, however be sure to check that your on the right platform because many stations have more then 1 train line going in different directions.

New Builder
New players join at this rank.
You are only this rank until you prove that you can be a contribution to earth.

Tribesmen
The first rank of players who get access to earth.
Being a tribesmen you will get to build your first settlement on earth which hopefully will grow into a thriving city 1 day.

Villager
This rank is given to players who's settlements have grown to a few buildings.
Most players will be a villager for a while because the requirements to advance go up steeply from this point.

City Planner
This is given to players who's settlements have grown to a detailed town size.
This rank requires you to put details on your buildings as well as details on the streets of your city.

Civilizationist
This is the highest obtainable rank on the server.
This rank is only awarded to the most skilled builders who make highly detailed cities on both the outside and inside of their buildings.

Moderator
Moderators are players who keep an eye on the server and it's player activity.
So while they are building their own cities they also keep an eye on the logs and chat to make sure the server stays a safe and mature community.
If you wish to become a moderator you will have to send a PM on the forums to Yotan.
Moderators don't have special buildings privileges so keep that in mind before asking to be a Moderator.
The only way to become a Moderator is to be a quality player who is competent, mature, and actively helping the community.

The Server only has 5 Golden Rules, Follow these rules and there shall never be a problem.
- Be respectful to your fellow players.
- Don't build giant statues or pixel art, this is a city building server.
- Don't change the natural coast lines and rivers, we want the earth to stay recognizable, thou minor changes can be made.
- Don't build floating continents or underwater cities, boats and airplanes etc are allowed.
- Keep earth Natural, so don't build a giant grass plain in the middle of a desert.
