According to online reviews of this cooler, the temps you are getting are pretty good, not sure if using the pea method will help a lot.

Thanks Falros you have been a big help
im gonna go up to 4.5ghz

    anyone agree?

Try to run a 20 min stress test, then shut it down for an hour so it cools down, and repeat these steps 2-3 times so the paste is spread by heat. If temps don't improve, you can either keep these and keep that level of OC, or try the pea method if you like.

More importantly, when you apply thermal paste, make sure you have cleaned the CPU and cooler with rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth and let them dry completely before you apply the paste. Also, make sure you don't touch either as oil / grease from your fingers will have a bad effect on temps ( I feel like I'm repeating myself... )

    (1155 posts. May I get a "LGA Socket" hidden rank ? :P )

    XD thanks
Also i know about not touching it with fingers and ill start the stress testing!

On a side note now you gotta wait for LGA Socket rank 3 which is 1366 :P

Thermal paste, especially stuff with silver in it (i.e. just about all of them) takes time to settle in.

You need to take it through a number of temperature cycles before it becomes 100% effective. Your temps will get lower.

    How long should I wait?

Well that's not a ton of airflow... But it's indeed possible oyu put too much. Remember, the layer must be as thin as possible. It's just here to fill holes that your eye cannot see, not to act like butter in a sandwich :)

It's not too much if you apply very little to the lines.

My problem is the thermal paste doesnt like to get cut off from the syringe when i put it on

Either the A70 is quite bad or you just put way too much. What is the 912's default fan config ? One 200mm in and two 120mm out ?

I think i put too much
    1 120mm for intake and 1 120mm for exhaust

You can apply it to the heatsink if you prefer, or you can apply two lines on the CPU, if I understand your question correctly.

    Yea you did
Also its sorta hard to get the thermal paste off of the syringe that it comes in. is that normal?

Corsair A70 uses direct contact pipes, so the line technique is better. The idea is to do two thin lines of thermal past that are parallel with the pipes.

After spreading from pressure, you come out with this:

gotcha ill do that where in relation would i put them on my cpu?

Well, like a pea, except a bit smaller...

Maybe just a little more than on the picture.

What paste are you using ? Also, the ideal methor is the small pea that you don't spread. Also, what airflow does your case has ?

    Noted will do it tommorrow

I doubt that you didn't put on enough the first time. You may be putting on too much which can actually hurt your temperatures contrary to what most people would think. Just a small pea sized dot in the center is all you need.

how much will that be I am going to be honest how big is that and if possible maybe a picture?

I'm sorry, but the guy asked an INCREDIBLY simple question. He just wants to know what model your processor is, AMD has more than one six core processor. Your response to his question is comparable to the below.

    Example:

Me: I have a 4GHz quad core from AMD.
Poster1: Which quad core do you have?
Me: I don't have to tell you anything ******!

Yea i think they have 8+ 6core processors
And i am not an idiot XD

4.3GHz on a 6-core useless? Most of the time I find myself using 5 of the cores and about 80% of the cpu at times

    What 6-core?
    An AMD Phenom 2 X6 or FX6X00?
