Isolate the issue. If you connect a different computer through the same powerline ethernet configuration, do you experience the same problem? If you do, then the issue is the powerline ethernet adapter. Connect the computer that is having the issue directly to the router. Does the problem persist?

That is what I am doing. Ive Tested my laptop on the receiving end and I got around 5mbps. I think it was that low due to generic drivers

I have the same comcast internet plan as you. Had the same problem where the speeds dropped to like .5 on dl and up. About a day later things were back to normal.

Basically what i am saying is that it doesn't seem like a hardware problem. Call comcast if the problem persists for too long.

I too have Comcast internet and experienced a similar problem a little while back. After some work on the boxes down my street the speeds dropped so slow I couldn't load any webpage ( Even sites like Google without pictures or large amounts of test ) on ethernet or wireless with any number of devices hooked up to the network. I spoke with a Comcast representative on the phone and after having the signal re-sent the internet was back to the old speed. I can't guarantee this will work but it's worth a try.

But There is a reason I think its my desktop because I did a speed test on the same server with a different desktop and it got a solid 26mbps

    OK,
Well I just tested the ethernet connection on my laptop (which my not have up-to-date drivers but who cares) and it recieved the normal amount of ping and upload as normal but it got around 5mbps download. This puts me to think that my intergrated network on the motherboard is not working correctly. If that is the case what is the best price to performance ratio card?

    Hello everyone,
I am having a predicament that really only affects me.
First I should give some background. We have comcast internet and normally get around 20+mbps download and around 5-6mbps upload, with a top download speed of 27mbps. My desktop is hooked to the router with the use of a powerline (ethernet over power cables). Now for whatever reason-(this started on Saturday)-my download speed has dropped too 1-2mbps, while my ping and upload speed have remained the same. Now to isolate the router/modem, on a desktop that is hooked up directly to the router (no powerline) it gets a solid 20+mbps. I have also switched the ports which the two ethernet cables are connected too and I did not recieve a change in speed. This puts me at the position to assume either 1 or 2 of the ethernet cables (first one is router to powerline adapter, second is from powerline adapter to my desktop) or its my desktop.
So could someone help me regain my download speed?

posted a message on Is it safe to delete everything AMD related on a Intel System. OP Edited
I think he is talking about for the CPU and not the video card.
If you go and download something sometimes it will include to versions to install. 32bit or 64bit. AMD released the first X86 64bit CPU so when you go to install something it could be in a folder called AMD64. Whereas the 32bit is IA32. So no dont delete anything

The Apollo program was almost a major success. Samples were taken, and research was done. But it suddenly stopped after Apollo 17. Why do you think that they did it? Do you think that humans will ever go back to Luna?
    Post your thoughts here.

By Apollo 13 moon missions were being routine so people were starting to not care as much about landing on the moon. That and the fact that the Saturn V which is the launch vehicle for the Apollo program was large and probably cost a lot. Another factor was that they were beginning to test the Space Shuttle for its launch. Oh and considering the last Saturn V was used for skylab thats probably why.
Its funny because the CPU on the landers were as powerful as the CPU in a wrist watch. Considering that we should be able to return. Our other problem is the Sequester at Washington DC will most definitely drop the budget of NASA. We just need a new launch vehicle and we should be fine

    It's rockstar.

    The answer is "no".

    Not in the least.

How? My pc should easily run it but I get around 45-60 fps on very high (or the one below the highest) Also like any game the more addons you put it has more lag. Even default with AI set to 100% causes a lot of lag

posted a message on iPhone vs Galaxy
also you forgot the fact the iOS is built for few devices (ipad, ipod, iphone) while android has hundreds of thousands. Thats why people associate apple products to be fast, because the os was specifically built for the hardware. Android also is running a linux kernal which is different then iOS. Also people think Android is slow because they get really slow low end phones with 600mhz arm 11 processors.
Still I have the Galaxy S3 and it runs every game flawless. Temple run 2 has no lag its fast as hell.
Your choice on the 5 or S3
remember android has customization. and the fact that alot of the ideas from ios came from android

Why do you want a wireless mouse? A wired mouse offers much better performance (as in it's faster).
