    I wouldn't rule out some form of return of taint/thaumic slimes. was looking over my thaumonomicon and noticed a node type described in the aura section that sounds pretty sketchy be interesting to find each of the node types.

    Getting a really odd situation. I installed the mod alongside buildcraft, IC2, and railcraft and as soon as I started getting into thaumcraft stuff I found that I couldn't craft a vis detector no matter how I tried. So I went and installed too many items/craftguide and went snooping to see if I was doing it wrong (specific recipe, missing something, etc). to my suprise it seemed as though only half the mod installed as not only were the infuser/tinker tool recipies (the ones that use them to make other things, I could make the items themselves fine) missing, but the resultant items such as the vis detector were completely missing from item lists.

    I am certain I got the correct buildcraft (buildcraft 3.x), and even tried removing everything but thaumcraft/craftguide/TMI just to check to see if it was some strange conflict.

    Edit: And I understand that they don't all show up in TMI, I was using it to spawn in the parts to check if the recipies were just missing in craftbook too.

    Edit2: Used magic launcher to make sure thaumcraft was the last thing loaded and it works now, guess one of the other mods was messing with it, no idea which though.

    I just want a baby dragon, feed it to keep it from killing you out of hunger. like a pet slime, something absolutely adorable that will follow you around that you can show off to your friends... no combat and from the size it'd prolly be would be more likely to lava-shove you so you pay a price for it.

    Timber! comes build into the technic pack 4.4.0. Plus the nature overhaul mod that comes with that also has a lumberjack option. I do think you'll need to add the industrialcraft chainsaw to the tool list to the config to have it use the timber mod though.

    As for the solution, I doubt there is anything you can do. The time sensitive lag is probably because a node on the connection us extremely stressed in the morning hours.

    Didn't notice the effect you put on the portal. And I was like 'Oh I see what you did there.'

    Very cool man, looks awesome. Only critique is that the image of the nether is off, it's looking straight. looking up at the nether portal we should be seeing the ceiling of the nether.

    While the mod could use a name revision I think that from the screenies it is well-thought. I never liked the other varients due to the fact it looked like the characters were trying to smuggle a box of pasta noodles out in their shirt. Do carry on and I am curious if this might evolve to much more complex character models as a whole (expanding outside the current contents)

    I'm torn about this, but here I go:

    Jeb mentioned no flying mounts because it messed up SMP, however if you take a second to properly understand -why- it messes up SMP you would realize that the act of generating new terrain too rapidly is the problem. Moving back down into single focus Jeb only denies a single aspect of the request, which is flight, and I should point out that formerly he had said that there would be no dragons at all, so even that might change if they make a breakthrough with the engine.

    Putting aside the flight, which is not necessary or even possible to disable in SMP with relative ease (a great number of modders have done this with their mods too) and negate the issue completely. Without that I have not seen much solid evidence why it would be a bad thing from those against the tamable dragons. The point of it being OP I can't understand as a baby dragon would most likely have the fighting ability of any current mob, and an adult dragon while being practically unstoppable would only be able to fight well in large open spaces like plains or the enderlands.

    in bullet form:
    -No flight allowed in vanilla due to SMP instability.
    -Adult dragons might be 'OP' but their size would make them impractical for use except as a base defender.
    -insanely difficult to get a proper egg considering the challenge of fighting a dragon and the terrain of the enderlands.
    -A baby dragon would be adorable.

    Honestly the derpface can be frightening, I wasn't expecting to see those big of eyes on zombies so when one popped out it nearly scared me to death.
