Tried transparency with the ender dragon, did not work. Did work on the enderman though (unintentionally arms and legs showed up.) . My enderman is a ghost, and the end is the end of man. But since enderman can teleport, some haunt the earth at night. No shaders on this picture :) , although my dragon had a no shader picture above the shader one. Getting heavy influences from Game of Thrones.

First I cut off the front limbs of the dragon and made it a wyvern, then I textured it with 12 colours.

The dragon is a large mob, so image is best viewed at actual size.

My first few attempts at block models, not planning on making each fence type unique, but did want something different than vanilla.

Torch on the wall and carved stone brick also toyed with.

Also wow shaders, never tried them. 2nd picture is with them. But kind of defeats the purpose of my resource pack.

My take on the iron golem, retains colours of the pumpkin and iron block.

posted a message on Mojan ever consider upgrading the default ressource pack?

So that the default game doesn't look like garbage. At least lets have a choice of resolutions (16,32,64,128,...)

Could they buy off some the best ressource packs out there?

Also, why not buy off forge to control mods and optifine to control graphics and shaders? Integrated this into the official game...

I used a mix of the blocks of ChromaHills 128 and S&K Photo Realism 128. The difference in looks compare to the default game is stunning.

Why change the default textures, or buy off texture packs? Isn't that the point of artists, like myself, to create a resource pack that others will use? That's just killing off the community. You can freely use a different texture pack with little hassle, and help support others who bring the game so much fame.

Try putting the parent: block/block statement back in the header :)
That should reference the held/inventory/ground model presets without messing things up.

Nice, fuzzy grass :) is it randomized between a few models?

Thanks, that worked! And yes, the grass blocks have random rotations and occasional flowers on top. Now to make my fences all fancy like yours! :)

Any ideas why some of my block entities might be this ridiculously large in 1.9?

also disappointed that entity models are not in 1.9, cant make a sail boat :(

I just finished my iron tools. Tell me what you guys think :)

I think the pickaxe could be more realistic. Like here:

When hitting a rock you'd want to use the tip, not an angle of it. I suggest making the arc more shallow/flatter.

I haven't posted anything in a while, but I changed my stone brick and wood planks. Less messy than before. +random variants using vanilla models.

Also 1.9 is official now, igloos!

Brewing stand (meant to be explosive/overflowing), blaze power and rod, redstone torch, and buckets. I thought the brewing stand emitted its own light, apparently not. Would it be more interesting animated?

Anyone know the reasoning as why the player model turns sideways trying to walk backwards? Try it in third person, it's bugging me, just walk straight backwards...

Also armour, leather is going to be hard. Chain,Gold,Iron,Diamond
