    Other packs with custom villager sounds work fine for me.

    The sounds were created by renaming .wav files, if that matters. They play fine outside of Minecraft.


    Can anyone help me?



    Renaming or re-encoding? You can't just rename audio file extensions.


    Also can you upload the sound files somewhere and give a download link? For testing purposes.

    They're the same thing. Plugins are server side though, so you don't need to download anything.

    The difference is one is the Java version ( more features, the original game) and the other is the Windows 10 version, which closely resembles the console version and mobile version. I recommend the Java version from Minecraft.net.

    When playing hardcore mode on LAN, it would be great to be able to bring a player back to life. Using some type of ritual or something else. it should be pretty hard to do to still keep the hardcore feel. When someone dies after such a long time playing it sucks that their is no way for them to come back and it is less fun without them. I believe this would be a fun and interesting mechanic to add to the game.


    "It is possible for a server admin to allow a player to rejoin after death, but the admin will need to stop the server and edit server files: First, deleting the player data from (Map name)> players > (deadplayer).dat, then going into the banned-players.txt and erasing the relevant data under the index ( banned by | banned until | reason). However, the player will appear at the original spawn point with no items, armor, or levels (because their player data has been deleted)."

    But the difference between hard and hardcore is the lack of respawn, so just don't play hardcore, useless suggestion.

    Here's the skybox I'm working on, just some shaded shaped resembling hills or mountains, not planning to add any more detail besides clouds. Will have to carve out the east and west side for the sun and moon to rise and set or else it'll look weird in front.
    Still unsure why the skybox works on some world saves and not others, or sometimes it'll disappear entirely. I might add little trees into the distance like so (chunk of skybox)



    Here's what it looks like in the desert (uses Custom Colours to change the colour of the skybox from Better Skies, two mods working together!)
