In the Millenaire folder there are a tonne of .txt files that you can edit. For example the patriarch file is found in \mods\millenaire\cultures\byzantines\villagers.

Weirdly enough whenever I try to install, say, Mo Creatures, my Millenaire villages break immediately and give me the 'update entity' spam in chat. I've also tried it with OTHER mods like Doggy Talents and Minecraft Comes Alive. I've got the latest version of Forge, too, so I'm not sure exactly what's breaking the system. I'll fiddle around with my configuration and see if I'm just doing something wrong.
I find that installing new mods on a preexisting world with 1.7.2 Millenaire causes this error. Try a new world and see if it still spams errors

There is actually. You have to go into your saves folder (assuming you have a world you want to disable it in already generated), select your world, select the millenaire folder, open config.txt and set generate_villages to false. Assuming you're using a Windows OS.Quote from OpelSpeedster
Hey... is it possible to toggle this mod between worlds? I'm in a dire need of having reasons to further explore the Minecraft world, because I'm more of an explorer than a miner/crafter/fighter, but I'm trying to build an adventure map in another superflat world, and I don't want Millénaire villages spawning in it.
Will I have to alternate between having the mod installed when using Survival World and having the mod uninstalled when using Adventure World?

Well, I found a download for a working version of 5.1.11. Don't know why the one on Millenaire.org didn't work for me. Anyway, did I say it was a bug? No, I did not. I was just looking for help for a problem I was having.
Edit: Millenaire has been causing my Minecraft to crash and gives me a message saying it has run out of memory. What should I do to deal with this?
Start with finding how much RAM you have on your computer. With Windows platforms you can just type dxdiag in the search bar in the start menu. Figure out how much RAM you want to allocate to Java. Open your Minecraft launcher. Click Edit Profile. Click the box next to JVM Arguments. There are 2 ways you can do this. One way is to type (without quotes) "-Xmx?G" where ? is the number of gigabytes you want to designate. Another way is to type "-Xmx????m" where ???? is the number of megabytes. Save your profile and hopefully it will work.

I hope I'm not the first to complain, but I must ask..
Why is it that it takes forever to find a Norman village, and when I do, it spawns 3 or 4 right on top of each other. Literally, like they're all within 150 blocks of each other.
Is it a Gros Bourg in the centre? That particular village spawns 3 villages around it. To disable it, go into \millenaire\cultures\norman\villages and delete grosbourg.txt.

I meant that separately these cultures should be included but not in the same world. I was thinking that it would be under world generation before you start the world. If I am still incorrect, I apologize.
Sorry for being rude. It could maybe happen if there was enough clamour for it. To the suggestion page!

I think you should add a gui that allows for different world generation based off of the time period. These cultures are based off the 11 century so maybe you should also make selectable time periods with different cultures. Ancient Rome and Greece are left out IMO but other cultures are as well.
Again, someone misses the point of "Millenaire." Kinn just wants 11th century cultures. Only one exception so far: the Mayans. The culture was done so well he decided to include it.

I know right i orginally wanted Yuri but someone got it so i raged and just randomly input this.
What is the hunter supposed to do? He only sits at his home and lays around not doing much. The Enchanter will be nice. The deliverman also keep taking my stuff that i place into the chest like seeds into the farmer one is he supposed to do that? It is very irriating
The hunter is supposed to kill hostile mobs at night, but I find that he only kills spiders. He's also supposed to tame wolves that he sees.
The delivery guy will only take stuff from chests added by this mod. Put something into a citizen house chest and it's needed elsewhere? The delivery guy will take it. Put something into the supply chest? He's gonna take it.

How do I change it and what ID number to replace it??
In the config folder animal bikes only shows this
#Bike uses until it breaks, 0 will make them unbreaking
#Change to set the start of the item id range
#Enables MorePlayerModels startup update message
Alright, the line that says ItemStartID: try changing the number to 25726 and saving. Restart your Minecraft client and see if that changed anything.

Give them time. This is only their first release with code they did not originally write. Next up is the stone mason and perhaps the enchanter. Kruppe said on the dedicated forum that building variants would happen once things got established. Also, the quite the name you have there,Quote from Yaoi
Awesome Mod but i wish this mod will add even more stuff in the future and fix the bank(I was really wanting to try it)

I think this mod is now dead It was my favorite mod!!!
What makes you say that? He said it will take some time to update to 1.7 on the official Millenaire forums. In fact, he posted today that all his spare time goes to updating.

I presume that you get Bamboo Sprouts from Bamboo Leaves? I ask because I'm not getting any...
Actually, you get them by applying bonemeal to the base of a bamboo tree.
