Oh, didn't mean plateau as in the biome. I meant if there was a customization with large steep mountains so it looks like plateaus and the space in between looks like ravines.
Edit: I noticed this in the dev console:
Ignoring: versions/1.6.4.360/1.6.4.360.json; it contains id: '“1.6.4.360”' expected '1.6.4.360'
Refreshing remote version list...
One of the renamed ones was 1.6.4.360 (For 360 support). Why is it ignoring them?
Had the same problem. When I saw this, I decided to remove the quotes from the id name. It worked.
So instead of: "1.6.4.360"
Try: 1.6.4.360
This music generator is based on the WolframTones music generator, which in turn is based on the Wolfram code for cellular automata.
I don't use redstone much so there's probably a more efficient and compact way to make this. This is also a proof of concept meaning it's just a test made to see if it actually works. As such it's a little messy and there are a lot of sloppy, extra parts.
For now the machine only has levers to determine the rule used to interpret the code and an ON/OFF switch. A complete machine would also have levers for inputting the initial state, resetting, and more complex ways of interpreting music.

Uhh..err.umm..
Oh..
Well, if you're still looking for a server instead, try SLC.
Although it's not specifically the genre you asked for, you still have the freedom to do so. But we're pretty small so to be honest you might have a bit difficulty finding others to make a town with
And that's why we're recruiting!
Try SLC!
Single player survival without the single is our explicit aim
We've been active for a few months but since we're really small, it's mostly empty. Plenty of land to build in.
The server's mostly PvE since we don't like being forced to PvP. (PvP is active in certain areas though, we don't hate it, we just hate being forced into it.)
'course, being Minecraft, there is still the occasional rain, zombie hordes, and skeletons using you as a shooting range :x
Try SLC.
We're pretty small with a handful (5-15 sounds about right) of players, but we're looking to find more people to play with~
Several people have made towns of various sizes. We've got a capital city in construction as well!
We've got a vanilla server. Not 100% vanilla, I'm pretty sure there are some added vitamins and antibiotics. Chocolate and blueberries? Mmm... parfait..
Anyway, we're really small but a close community. Try SLC.

Is there anyone here good with using the settings on custom worlds? Maybe a world with big plateaus would work.
0
Is there any way to make a vanilla customized world have lots of ravines? Or just have big canyons that stretch forever?

Play multiplayer.

We're a small semi-vanilla server. We've been around for a few months but since we're small, the server's mostly empty land.

Most of the players are pretty well established but we're recruiting more new players as well.

Of course, you could join an existing town.
