Isn't there a mining competition out already? Say you have a time limit to get as many mining resources as possible( ), then whoever has the most of whatever gets a prize of some sort? I don't know. That leaves loads of room for cheaters.
I don't know how that would be modded to prevent people from doing that. Lol.

[Edit] - What I mean about the cheating part is like..when you start the competition, you can't have any resources on your person at all. Maybe just a shovel and pick and some torches. Gravel, cobble, and dirt are fine, but besides all the ore, no. Should have elaborated more, sorry.
