i run 1.7.10 so i can use mods. I think 1.8 had a major code change somewhere, so it is hard for them to update. However, we should be getting mods where the first version is 1.8 pretty soon. You would not have to do a major code change for your big mod.

I am trying to make a mob farm for enderman because i want to go to the end. i jsut want an area that enderman are able to spawn in and is in my base. i dont need them to auto-grind, i am fine with killing them. will this work? the minecart is for getting out without letting to much light in.

just now, i was deciding house organization, and a random enderman came out of my nether portal (i think) and placed a gravel block in my house. i tried to kill him and he teleported away. he just wanted to troll me . what did an enderman do to you before?

There is only one portal in existence currently, which is the one I am trying to move. I am probably not gonna move it that far.
