Intro

When I play Minecraft, I try to progress in my game, not just sit there and never fight a boss, enchant, or go to the nether. I try to do everything I can. Even if it's not needed very much. See, when almost everybody makes a new world, they plan on doing what their completion terms for there world may be. Some never complete it, and some do. What happens when you do everything you possibly want to do? You make a new world. And repeat. But it's nice keeping a world. Especially when you add mods.

What is it for?

A way to keep playing your world, and expand it's lifespan. To add variety to the things you have been doing every time you play Minecraft. To have worked and been on a world for so long that you easily know your area, have built amazing and large things, defeated many monsters and bosses, and have had fun.

How do I do the challenge?

First make a Forge 1.8 version world. Then do your normal things like you do in vanilla Minecraft. Once you have beaten the bosses and ran out of stuff to do, add one large mod to it. Do everything you can do with that mod. Repeat.

Rules?

Unlike most challenges, this one does not really have any rules, any hard rules at least.

1. Do not remove any mods that you already have, unless your getting crashes or something like that.

2. Feel free to put keep inventory on or set your spawn point using commands. You can use any gamerules you want.

3. Do not give yourself things unless glitches or something really bad happened to something really important.

4. Stay on easy mode or higher.

5. Credit me if you make videos of this same challenge.

I support. I never liked chickens in minecraft, but this should make them better. Also, this will give me a reason to farm them as I never craft arrows, rarely craft cake, raw chicken gives you hunger, and it just does not restore enough hunger.

You mentioned that you got one with respiration I. Try to get three respiration I to add to your helmet. If the enchant is not shown in the enchantment table, block off any surrounding bookshelves and do a level 1 enchant. Unblock the shelves and do the right enchant. If the right enchant is again not shown, repeat the process until it's there. Combine the three respiration I books onto the helmet of your choice.

On my main world, I excavated a mineshaft to a larger size, and decided to call it my home. I was sure that this was going to be my forever place, but by looking at it you could not know that. So once I got farther in-game by going to the nether and enchanting, I improved it with a nice quartz enchanting place and glowstone. It now looked like a forever home, but a really ugly unorganized forever home. I need some ideas, asap.

Before your read what I am about to say, get calm.

I think the console versions mainly ruined the fanbase. Why? Because at least to me, consoles seem to be more of a casual way to play games. Casual players arn't really seriously into the game. They play it how they see it, and they don't really discover much into the game and don't usually think much of it. They buy the game, and play it. No extra things with it, like browsing forums, watching youtube, recording it, and they don't really talk about it. And I am not saying that is what the entire Minecraft console fanbase is like. We also have lots of serious gamers on the consoles. Less intelligent people playing the game, worse it is said to be.

Now correct me if I am wrong, but I think you are able to voice chat in console versions of Minecraft. This means more types of Minecraft player groups are made, making more conflicts in between them. If voice chat was not there, there would be no mic related groups fro Minecraft. Less kinds of players, less conflict. Conflicts make the community look worse, making more hate on the game.

I also believe that consoles helped the belief of Herobrine. Herobrine does not exist. But with addition of Herobrine skins on the console versions, trolling was able to do along with planned people with Herobrine skins. Herobrine does not exist. Again, more conflict in the community, worse the game is said to be.

As a side note, lots of people think the graphics are terrible and the graphics are all that matters. Also, the people who hate on it are sometimes not even the age group meant to play it. It's like me (10 years old) hating on preschoolers educational games for having bad graphics and being dumb. This makes more people hate the game, and that hate changes opinions of others or worsening those opinions.

1.8 forge might still be in beta (idk) and I know by experience that Pixelmon can lag the crap out of your computer if you have to much mods. If you happen to be using optifine too, I know that one of the 1.8 versions has block lag, also from experience. Also make sure your updated to java 8.

Yeah. I personally like the resource pack for my modern builds. Only use it if your server is modern-themed. If it's more of a medieval-theme, user Sphax Pure BD Craft. It also comes in different resolutions for any computer.

you should have mo creatures and lycanites mobs. There also is a very helpful building wand mod, but it is not updated.

can you please build a big city on top of a dragon for me? the city probably should be medieval considering that is on top of a dragon. It will be a bit smaller then your atlantis build that you are working on. I would prefer the dragon to be white. Sorry if this is really hard.
