    im a clan leader now, i need to sometimes, ill try to explain things better, i just got so much to do. Im very sorry if i offended anyone.
    as for Maxpm, i answered that post a long time ago, that's a dead point.

    I just cant say anything to get into your head, and im not good with dealing with kids Kaosi seems better at it. You have to realize im under a lot of pressure right now and i snap sometimes. So when kids who dont understand how difficult this is question me on a topic that i gave my view on already, and say how i dont think things through i get pissed.

    Raiding applies to different people, clearly your the type who doesn't do that.Some are, im not about to tell them they cant.

    I don't see why you're getting so worked up over this. How do you expect to run a large clan when you can't take a bit of criticism without name-calling? You have completely failed to respond to the majority of my points as well, and have only reinforced my argument that you haven't really thought anything through; except on a highly superficial level. You might think all of these ideas are cool, but they're unnecessary and are very likely going to ruin your project. Good luck, though - apparently you'll need it.


    i actually responded to all your points, and i don't mind when people criticize my leadership and ideas. I don't like however when people make huge posts, after I've already commented on how i feel on the subject. Then proceed to say how i don't think things through, and after that, say your not interested. As far as i'm concerned that post was to **** me off, and annoy me, about a subject that i already ended.

    1) dont give ideas on a project your not interested in.
    2) dont bring up dead points.

    Those ideas may be fun but they simply aren't practical.

    (1) Nobody will patrol the tunnel, regardless of whether you make it a job/position. Think about it. It is the exact same design for, as you say, 15 continents. Nobody would be able to patrol for more than five minutes without dying of boredom. I understand you aren't confined to that role, but I'm saying that nobody would even want to do it in the first place.

    (2) Any designs without, at minimum, a 3-wide river of water are completely impractical and require modification. If they can't be modified without looking bad, then they need to be discarded. Water travel is far too efficient to not use.

    (3) Having a group of raiders will simply anger nearby players and encourage them to come and destroy the tunnel. It is declaring war on the whole rest of the server. Once we raid their chests they will no longer have anything to lose and will dedicate themselves to destroying the tunnel. From there, it's gg - no amount of defenders would be able to stop a hostile group of players attacking at random places with nothing to lose. Or we could let them build themselves up, so that -they- have something to lose as well, and then stop them from attacking with the threat of the massive group of players. It's better to just keep quiet and tunnel peacefully rather than turning everyone into enemies.

    (4) An armory won't work. If we keep all of the resources in one place, we will have to have people dedicated to guarding it. Having a central armory is just asking for raiders to attack us and steal from it. All they have to do is find out where it is and then attack, and they can do so at any time of day, which means we'd require defenders 24/7. Multiple defenders, in the case of an attack by more than one player. And the actual activity of defending will, realistically, be staring at a wall for hours, falling asleep, and being awoken by the sound of your death. Multiple armories won't work either. Players would just enter and take whatever they wanted with no opposition. Let miners hide chests of materials themselves, and let miners distribute it to tunnelers who need it. It can all be organized on vent. Someone needs something? Then they ask for it. Simple, and it would work fine.

    Anyways, I understand you're ambitious and want to succeed with your project. However, this doesn't seem very practical. It just doesn't sound like much of this is thought through. So I don't think I can work with you guys. But good luck with your project anyways. I wish you guys the best.

    Not gonna miss you, its not like you bothered to join the steam group, and meet anyone.

    1) Guards- i planned to have this as a role, for people to do on the side. People who are bored with mining and tunneling, can take a brake put on some armor, and search the tunnels for any damage done, or people who don't belong. Clearly. CLEARLY i was exaggerating when i said 15 continents wide, if you cant figure that out then your an idiot. I dont want idiots in my tunnels.

    2) Boats- i switched the man tunnel to his idea.

    3) Raiders- i want despite the dangers, what did you think i didn't think of that, what did you think I'm stupid. How may i ask you, are they gonna find the tunnel? Its underground 200 blocks in a random location. They cant follow the raiders if they die. And like i said i want to have raiders, i want to steal, and make enemies. Mainly because its really ****ing fun.

    4) Armory- um i want an armory, i want goods to be strictly distributed, and crafted. Tunnelers will still get what they need, as well as miners. And what exactly will tunnelers and miners be doing in the armory. An armory usually tends to have weapons and armor... Guess you didn't know that. Miners and Tunnelers will get picks and materials they need from storehouses, which they can take what they need.

    Final comments. If you weren't interested you could have just left without saying anything.
    Before you assume someone doesn't think something out, and post it. Do a little thinking yourself.

    It's 10 wide (6 wide without the side-lava) and 5 high (4 high without roof lava).

    It covers all the specs of what you asked for :biggrin.gif: Plus it looks pretty cool IMO.


    if that wasent 100 times harder to make i'd use it, the idea of the prototype, is that its good looking and easy to make.
    BUT HOWEVER we'll see if we can add onto it, if we realize the other one is to easy. :biggrin.gif:

    My mind is nowhere near ideas of creative. That was not what I was thinking about. My point is that we would need to share a server with a few groups in SMP. And yes, 50. So they will come in and see none of us. They will think "What the ****? I don;t want to be here." and leave. We need people staying to make it so we DO have people to raid. Because if we don;t all we are going to raid is npcs.
