Can somebody tell me how the do I add a modpack? This launcher is extremely confusing.

I want to add the Beyond Reality pack but I have no idea how to put it in there.

Welp, there's no "best" mod out there. They all do different stuff. There's simple mods like TreeCapitator, Rei's minimap etc etc, There's some mods that add random but fun stuff like Clay Soldiers. there's also some mods that start to add stuff to Minecraft and improves/makes more challenging the overall gameplay like Extra Biomes, Optifine, BOD (Better ore Distribution). There's old mods that takes Minecraft to another level like the classic Industrial Craft, Red Power, Buildcraft, EE, ThaumCraft, Mystcraft etc. And then there's masterpieces of modding like TerraFirmaCraft and Better Than Wolves.

It comes down to personal preference as to what do you want your next Minecraft experience to become.

And why do you demand to be repp'd? Is there a prize for the most reps? Apart from enlarging your Epenor, nobody gives half a **** about it, unless you're some insecure 10 year old who is only cool in the internet.

the technic pack is one of the best modpacks ever, but the simple fact that the guy who made it didnt ask for any of the mod creators' permission to put their mods in a pack makes me feel dirty if I play it, so instead i simply look for the mods that it has and i install them by meself.

(except millenaire!! that thing lags the crap outta my already jurassic rig and if i wanted to have ppl build their own ****, then id go play MP)

minecraft still owns, still is idiotically addictive and will be for quite some time my favourite game ever.

Though some random smartasses simply fail to see that some people have played their asses off on the "vanilla" release so much that we seek only to "extend" our minecraft expierence with some of those awesome mods out there. If there was anything significant in any of the new releases (here goes another OMGWTFBBQ UPDATES ARE FAIL NOTCH WHY U NO MAKE SENSEFUL UPDATES??!! RANT/) then i wouldnt have posted that stuff about not touching the full release until my mods were updated, but there is hardly anything new to this Vanilla game that I "already played my ass off so much" that will make me play it again without my mods.

anywa, people that think this way arent even worth my time.

I'll wait until IndustrialCraft2, BuildCraft, Equivalent Exchange, TMI, Mo' creatures, minimap, nature overhaul, and optifine get updated. Till then I'll stick with 1.8.1 and I wont even touch the full release.

And to that guy who said the analogy about mods, you'll have to excuse me but your post was plain idiotic.

Well i had no less than 150 fps back in 1.7.3, it was smooth as ****.

But after each update and prerelease it began screwing my fps more and more until i can barely get 40-60 fps in pre5 with "fast" video settings.
