I'd do what I'm already doing anyways, except sooner.

Buy an isolated mountain cabin about a 15 minute drive from a small mountain city where I went to university in.

posted a message on YOGSCAST, GOOD OR BAD
Like most youtube channels if you watched them in their early stages you start to get bored by their new videos. Because it's the same thing over and over. I only ever watched yogcast shadow of israphel tho, and some mod highlites. They are really good in small doses. And their coverage of the carrier was awesome. I'll still watch yogcast so I suppose it's in the "good" category.

Unlike Tobuscus in his lets plays. He used to be interesting. Now he just sings and yells obnoxiously because he knows his main audience is 12 yr olds. I used to like him because you never knew what he would say when bad stuff happens to him in games. Now he just ****ing yells n ****. =\ Assassins Creed lets play was good. His Minecraft lets play is ****ing trash.

    Sort of.

I backpack a lot. Soem of my clothes are obvious backpacking things like a super lightweight rain coat and down vest.
Uh, occasionally I wear band shirts I got from gigs I've been to.
I get shirts from various music equipment companies, usually for doing business w/ them. So I've got a sunn o))) shirt, a roland shirt and a bc rich shirt.

posted a message on Poll: Employment: right or Privelege?
    Quote from CruelCoin

It's all well and good wanting to work. Being able to do the work in question is another thing entirely.

There's plenty of people willing and very able to fill positions. People that can be brought up to speed with said positions fairly quickly. Generally employers only want people they don't have to train. But at the same time they are walking a fine line doing that while trying to avoid "overqualified people" because they are more expensive to hire. So they end up turning away 100 applications that had maybe a dozen or so people that could easily do the job. But they turn them down anyways to try and find that perfect person that doesn't exist. Then complain about how there are no good applicants.

It is certainly a privilege but more often then not employers are entirely too picky for their own good. Lots of companies complain about having trouble hiring people. Yet at the same time they have a ridiculous amount of people applying for positions. hmm...

Yeah, Trey's a pretty innovative player. Saw Morbid Angel at Bloodstock this year and they were great.

Man I want to see Morbid Angel again, it's been 10 years since I have. =\

Buckethead, he can add a voice to his music that none of the other mentioned can do.

Not really tbh. Well, maybe a few of his songs have some emotional depth to them.

Now if we are going to name our favorites, which most people seem to be doing, rather than a potential best. I'll just name Trey Azagthoth. He's like a metal version of Hendrix.

posted a message on Anyone else hate phones?
I don't like talking over the phone because it's difficult for me to understand everything they say. But I still like having a nice smartphone because many of the features are extremely useful.

Not really a fan of texting for idle conversation. I only really text when it's to pass along important info. Like: "Meet you at X in Y minutes." or "we're at [address] come on over."

Metal head, like most death metal and certain deathcore and grindcore bands. Though I'm slightly too young to have been into the earliest death metal releases as I didn't really start getting albums until about 1995.

posted a message on What's so Much Worse about Americans?
    Quote from Mastvlag

There are some things, for instance:

The healthcare: go to a doctor here, bam, you get an appointment planned for, let's say this week
Go to a doctor in america (and yes, i did once), bam, you get an appointment today but goodbye 600 dollars.

I guess it's basicly political views, as America is way more right-winged than most other countries

I go to doctor/dentist in America (they are on separate healthcare plans for some rsn) and I pay 25 bucks at most. Wait time for appointment is about a week at most unless it is urgent.
