Furniture though is silly unless it serves a practical purpose, I never understood people wanting functioning chairs and/or sofa's. Why would you want to stop and sit down in minecraft?
It's not so you can stop and sit down it's so that your house looks like a house.
I could support this, there has been a few times I wish I could do this. Lol like making way too many shovels by accident or window panes or something like that. And I wish I could put it back in and get the raw items back

IMO minecraft is a fantasy game at heart, its built around the idea of a fantasy world you make, thats not to say you can't add stuff to make a world you want.
For me, Blazes are just Heads of the Unfortunates that were bad during their time and died in Hardcore Mode, then they had to live eternally on the Nether. As such, the more people die in Hardcore mode, more Blazes are found in the Nether.
An RPG must include elves and dwarves. The dwarves must have Scottish accents for some reason. The elves must use bows/arrows. No, they can't use crossbows silly. They're elves for god's sake! Oh, and evil people have really bad complexion for some reason.
Essentially what the Title says: I am pretty annoyed by the fact that so many people out there are like "omg N0tch neds to fix this nou!!111!! thiz gam3 is so broken!!1!!" (said in a SeaNanners nerd voice ;P)
Do you not understand the meaning of a Pre-Release? For my part, I am glad that he and the other people in Mojang are actually letting us even SEE these pre-releases, because in all honesty, they are usually only meant for a small group of testers; so you should feel grateful that Notch is even allowing these to the general public.
*I know that is is more of a Rant than a discussion, so in order to get a more "discussion" feel here, post your own opinions about people who have this sort of attitude*

For those of you who hate minecraft then have a look at these steps.
1. Leave Minecraft
2. Get off these Fourms
3. Wait for a mod to fix all you problems
4. Get some initiative and try and make your own mod fixing the issue and then share it with the community
I'm not complaining about minecraft itself but those complaining about minecraft.
So lets all get over minecrafts let downs and have some fun exploring!
