The thing about armour stands is that they are 'only' useful for redstone / command block / technical stuff which is not at all what the original purpose of an armour stand is. It has no real gameplay advantage in survival by the looks of it, you still need to manually take off your armour piece by piece and manually put each piece on the armour stand, so it doesn't make changing or managing armour any faster compared to the inventory swapping method.
And there's no survival point in:
Paintings
Glass panes
Colored
Rugs
flowers
colored leather armor
stairs
ladders
beds
rabbits
bats
flowerpot
redstone lights
item frames
wool blocks
different wood

So I'm using the new custom world creation in 1.8 to get rid of temples and villages, but I'm wondering what 'biome size' matches with the 'Bigger biome'?
I'm not s where this goes, but since I've been on today I'm unable to navigate the forums by left click, I have to open new tab to change the page or refresh.
I'm using 3.7 Beta, 14w20c, I just follwed a river, and when I used amidst I found that the river didn't show up on it, it is defiantly a rive biome according to minecraft, Also the spawn point is off by 50. So I quess my question is the map completely wrong or is it just small defects?
EDIT: Yeah it looks like amidst is wrong I'm currently in a jungle 100 y from where there should be one.
I had heard of it alot from alot of people saying its the best game in the world and I hear it everywhere I go and I had already played some games that have the same concept of the world made of blocks so I figured "How bad can it be if everyone loves it?" well I learned my lesson

Sooo what you are saying is that you didn't DO ANY research BEFORE you bought a game.
Usually I say yeah give the guy a refund, but in your situation, no research pure impulse buy, I say no.
You sound like you did not know about any of this before you bought Minecraft, this whole list of things that you are adressing as issues with the game.
No civilised person could possibly have missed out on hearing at all about Minecraft,

Since 1.7 came out my usualy seed wich was 2 continents across a seed no longers work I'm wondering if anyone has any seeds for oceans seperating 2 land masses that don't connect.
