    posted a message on Mod crashing

    I just added another module, and now my mod is crashing, I assume i'm gonna need to catch an exeption based on what is says but I have no clue what to actually do about it. there was only one bit of code that did anything and it's below. Thanks for the help.

    code (btw there aren't any syntax errors according to eclipse):

    for(i = 0; i<9; i++) {
    		if(mc.player.inventory.getStackInSlot(i) == obi) {
    			System.out.print("workin' fine :D");
    		}
    	}

    posted a message on how can I change knockback strength in forge 1.12.2?

    I'm trying to change knockback strength in 1.12.2, right now i'm using

    mc.player.knockBack(mc.world.getEntityByID(10), 0, 0, 0);

    but whenever I run this, It stops certain events (you can't eat, entitys just stop happening, and chunks don't load or at least don't render). thx if you can help.

    yeah, the 2019 versions will work with java 8 but some 2020 versions only use 11+

    I don't think you can use jdk/jre 8 on the 2020 versions, wipe ur eclipse folder and download a 2019 version, and make sure you selected your jdk 8 folder for the java vm.

    posted a message on how to stop non cancelable event in forge mdk

    how can I stop the event(TickEvent event) void, I can't use @Cancelable with it, don't know how to end the loop.

    public void onEnable() {
    		super.onEnable();
    	}

    	public void onDisable() {
    		Minecraft.getMinecraft().player.setSprinting(false);;
    	}

    	@SubscribeEvent
    	public void event(TickEvent event) {
    		if(mc.player != null) {
    			if(mc.player.moveForward > 0 && !mc.player.isSprinting() || mc.player.movementInput.backKeyDown && !mc.player.isSprinting() || mc.player.movementInput.leftKeyDown && !mc.player.isSprinting() || mc.player.movementInput.rightKeyDown && !mc.player.isSprinting() || mc.player.isSneaking() && !mc.player.isSprinting()){
    				mc.player.setSprinting(true);
    			}
    		}
    	}
