i think he meant "this may sound weird but i like steve, i will make a steve with pick to you"
Oh wow. In most cases I understand pretty badly written english. Maybe because my english also isn't the best. But that one clearly went over my head. Thanks for the translation.
aww i can't even run it.
When i click the .exe it gives a "don't send" error
I'm running Windows XP x64 edition and have .NET framework 4.0
No idea why this happens
Don't quote me on this, but the cause may be the x64 XP. That is one of the most rarest and least supported windows of all times. If you can, try switching to Win7 x64 you won't regret it.
So, I found this and I'm not sure if its what you could use to port from C# to Java but it can't hurt to take a look.
The main problem is the GL library (that renders stuff), i think. It is a C# 3rd party stuff, and if you replace it with another, you must rewrite the parts in the code where you render (ie. paint) something to the 3d model... I think you know what that means...
I'm not sure why but I randomly started having issues on this program.
I made a skin before without any problems. Suddenly, I opened up the program and tried deleting a skin I no longer needed but then an error occured. I ignored it and went forward trying to edit my skin. Then when I tried to save it, another error popped up. I tried uploading the skin to minecraft but it just uploaded the unedited skin. Does anyone know why this might've happened and what I could do to fix it?
Usually, if a program had an error, than you can expect faulty behavior. The main question is, what was the first error (during deleting a skin). Can you reproduce it always? Could you post the error (in a spoiler tag preferrably)?
Here's a suggestion: Try and fix that... weird drawing system! It completely glitches up on my Laptop!
No matter what I do, it will always glitch sooner or later if I rotate the camera for a bit. (In 3D mode, of course.)
By glitch you mean the 3D model's faces are randomly overlappyng each other? I have a bad news for you. It is a commonly occuring problem with old/integrated (read most notebooks) VGA cards. I don't know the reason. Maybe Paril does. On the other hand, he is pretty damn busy lately.
i suspect Paril's answer will be something along the lines of "....only if we can find someone to compile it for a mac"
as he has mentioned about 150 times throughout this thread
And the 150 times is only Paril answering. There were a few others...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH * sorry, but it annoys me that I'm no admin
Er... I'm having a little problem, sorry if its already been answered.
I er... broke MCSkin3D by decreasing the resolution too much, and when reinstalled it I couldn't seem to find my skin files, every time I click on "Browse to skin location..." it just leads me to MyDocuments.
Any help? :<
Just out of curiosity. What resolution have you decrased too much?
I'm trying to update to get a Mine Little Pony model, but it only says please wait when I open up the "Check for Updates" thing. I waited for about 12 minutes and it still didn't do anything. Help please?
When I try to install "Mine Little Pony" support, it gives me an error and I can't install it.
Usually if you install/unzip it outside of program files you won't have problems with the updater. Otherwise post the error report, as Tender_Grilled also stated.
Could use some sort of macro set up on your computer to detect words like 'Mac' and 'Linux' and automatically type some answer that you input to tell people that it can't be done at the moment. Or 'MLP' and then type the instructions on how to get the MLP skins.
That would be truly awesome if it were possible, if it is, you should get cracking.
Oh for the love of- Click on the help tab, and then click on "Check For Updates". You'll see an update that allows support for MineLP, tick the box and click install, you'll know the rest.
Would it hurt to read the post six posts above yours?! This has been answered an ungodly amount of times, and the answer has always been; no, reprogram it yourself. Programs made to work with Windows don't normally work with OS X! It's something you as a Mac user should have realised by this point, some programs just won't work with it.
I'm surprised that there hasn't been a flame war about OSes on this thread by this point.
I can't understand why people cant read at last the last two pages.... I know 140+ pages are too much to read, but really. Not even the last page? Thanks for the answer. I really wish there were an answer bot. If a post has MAC or MLP in it just paste the standard answer automatically and report the user for lazyness.
Extra: This happens when I try to install the original sample pack
System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: El sistema no puede encontrar el archivo especificado
en System.Windows.Forms.Control.MarshaledInvoke(Control caller, Delegate method, Object[] args, Boolean synchronous)
en System.Windows.Forms.Control.Invoke(Delegate method, Object[] args)
en System.Windows.Forms.Control.Invoke(Delegate method)
en MCSkin3D.UpdateSystem.Updater.DownloadUpdateData() en C:\MCSkinner spaces now\Updater\Updater.cs:línea 401
What do you do to get the error? Just start the app? Do you have an integrated VGA?
i hope it gets updated to mac too it would be really useful!
I don't want to offend you guys, but I get the feeleng, that mac users can't use a forum or can't read. This questions has been answered on almost every page.
MC3dskinedit keeps on crashing whenever I use the bucket tool on a largeish thing. Please fix this, I was working on a HD skin and then all of a sudden afer 2 hours, it crashed! please fix this!
You coul'd try the latest beta. Get it from the facebook group (link in the first post). I think it is fixed in that.
just uploaded my skin please remove it it was a mistake
You have uploaded it to minecraft.net. Go there, log in, and you can change your skin to wathever you want. Or you have uploaded to planetminecraft (depends on witch button you clicked). For that log in to your PMC account and you can delete it... The program/author (Paril) isn't saving anything on the net.
Is it possible for the arm and leg textures to not be mirrored? That would help with a couple of projects I can't finish. If not ill simply edit it using paint.net
You can edit it with whatever you want, but the arm and leg will be always mirrored. It is a Minecraft limitation. There is only one arm/leg texture that you edit and the program (both MC and MCSkin3D) simply mirrors them.
EDIT: I found it but for some reason, straight after it tells me about the anti virus thing, it tells me that I have an Application Error. Then, I go to check my MCSkin3D and there are no skins or pony models. I got so mad that I wanted to smash my computer but I refrained. Please help.
Try installing it outside the program files directory. That should solve your problems.

Okay, this is getting to be our private chat room. So we should focus a bit more.

As I said I don't know how it was compiled. Probably to work with any CPU (both x86 and 64). I know one thing for sure. XP x64 is messed up greatly...

There is also a C++ version, but it is really outdated... That can be compiled to mac.

There isn't and propably won't ever be.
Hurray for the community. to you for the precise answer.

Read back a couple pages!
I will look into it. It's a good idea.

Could you provide a reason for that choice? If you do that the pragram could be more feature rich and you may use it with pleasure.
Oh wow. Someone actually did it! to you! I mean it. Maybe the gazillion answered questions aren't in wain.

Read back one or two pages.
From where? You want to change the login data for skin upload? If so Shift+Click on the upload button.
Yes. If the skin is pre-1.8 than you need to enable the 1.8 support int the view menu.
Read back one or two pages.
I'm afraid, that I cant help you on that. I never saw an error about that part...
More info?
