The only way for you to get the new trees is to explore new land, where the new trees will be generated. (I understand that the console worlds are limited.) There is no way for you to grow one tree with a sapling of another type.
You will probably have to contact the server owner to let you back on, as this server seems to be a hardcore server. On a hardcore server, you automatically are permitted from joining the server.
I think that 13 is a little too young to be on youtube. It is a hostile place, and people love to make fun of your voice. You are just not taken seriously, and no 13 year old is going to get many subs or views because people would rather watch videos made by older people. For some reason people like to call 13-year old youtubers, "fat little kids". Just sayin'.
Plus, youtube has an age requirement. You might be able to get around it with your parent's consent, but still.

Mojang is trying to eliminate the "pay to win" aspect of some servers, and Mineplex is rewarding players who donate by giving more more hub game items and allowing you to instantly join into servers rather than exclusive kits or something. Anyways...
I don't think Mojang will do anything, because that's not who they are, but that doesn't mean you should violate it for your server.
Also, does this problem happen without any mods installed except for flan's? If so, then you probably have an incompatibility error that is hard to fix without just removing the mod.
I don't see why every single tool in minecraft has to do attack damage. It is just going to be the same as everything else, just with a little different damage and recharge values. It's like adding in a million different types of armor except for weapons.
Have you ever tried anything beyond peaceful or easy? Try playing on hard and I can guarantee you that you WILL die. You get into tricky situations with mobs, although the threat might not be constant.
If that's not enough, you can use "real" mods and one command block mods. Surviving on hard with natural regeneration set to false is also very hard.
