I'm not sure you are using that word correctly.

But the reason I skimmed the thread was because of the context and title. These kinds of threads are exhausting.

Honestly, there are very few OPs and threads that i actually read all the way through. I've been doing tech support so long I just skim them and look for keywords, then post the relevant information.

**** using words correctly, the internet ruins my current vocabulary - _ -

Okay. Well, I can understand that through my sloppy ass way of posting this idea, you would get the idea that I'm trying to be pro-Mac. But little details can sometimes be the most crucial.

Ignorant = not knowledgeable, misinformed or uninformed
TL;DR/DC;DR = too long; didn't read, don't care; didn't read, do not care enough to read the whole thing

Well, whenever you post something, it's always really long, but I read it anyway because that's the ****ing decent thing to do.

In other words, you're a bit of a hypocrite.

No, it just didn't make sense...

I'm aware of this, I should've worded it differently. I posted this hoping people would get what I am saying, but after reading it through after, I realize how stupid it sounds.

Why do people think Mac's are "video editing" machines? You can get all the good editors on Windows, plus get a faster and more powerful computer for the same price. The only thing I think Mac's are good for are older relatives with enough money for a mac who aren't good with computers.

Lol that is actually true. And I say that they're good because I use iMovie and Final Cut Pro a lot, and those work amazingly well for me. It's based on personal experience.

Then you are blind, mac fanboi are second only to Alienware fanboi on this forum in providing misinformation.

That was a legit question I was asking, not a "matter of fact" question. I never really have seen Mac fanboys in my definition of fanboys.

    Why was this post made?

Great question that I've already answered about 5 times in this thread. Let me reword this so I don't sound like a fanboy myself.

    A. You don't see Mac fanboys, do you? I never personally have, but when someone does use a Mac, there is always someone who says "Windows is better." and gives no other reasons. This, in my book, is being a fanboy.

    B. Yes, PC is better, and I realize this.

Btw, ignorant in my book = not caring. By not finishing reading, you just stopped caring about whatever I have to say, which included:

    1. The reasoning of why I bought a Mac

    and

    2. The purpose of this thread.

That's where I got ignorant from. I didn't just pull it out of my ass. If it sounded like I was talking ****, my apologies, but I was kind of pissed off when I read "Stopped reading there."

To be fair, reading through what I posted, it does sound like I'm staging a Mac vs. Windows thread, but I really wasn't

How would you feel if you post something, everyone stops reading half-way through, then posts stuff that starts a Mac vs. Windows debate?

Because I personally hate Mac vs. Windows debates. Through this thread, I tried to make it clear that I don't want anything to do with them, but in my blind rage, have made that point void.

There is nothing an OS-X PC can do that a Linux or Windows PC cannot do.

There is a TON of things a Linux or Windows PC can do that an OS-X PC cannot do.

    Ignorant.

That word does not mean what you think it means, and if it does, you used it incorrectly.

So what you are basically saying is your post is a waste of space and makes no sense?

Yes, I completely agree, but that's really not the reason why I posted this thread. o_o

Macs are PCs. They not only are both Personal Computers, but Macs use the same internal parts as a regular PC.

What you SHOULD be comparing is Windows and OS-X.

Stopped reading there. Macs are garbage, although mainly due to their OS restrictions, the ridiculous ELUA and numerous other things.

For an OS to restrict what you can do on a computer completely defeats the purpose OF the computer. It's stupid and unnecessary.

Macs were not built for gaming, and still are not. Hence the gamer hate.
This is not even counting the fact that with each OS-X update, game developers need to release an update for their game, whereas with Windows and Linux the program will work eve if it hasn't been updated in 20 years.

O_O If you would've kept on ****ing reading, you would know that I actually do prefer Windows over Mac, and that I'm not talking about which one is better. Damn ignorant as hell is what you're acting like right now.

****note for the people who don't know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about windows fanboys.****

You guys need to stop the circle jerk. It's seriously not even funny anymore.

I'm not talking about the people who actually give legit facts about PC, you guys are the cool PC people.

    I'm talking about these people:

"LOLOLLOL PC MASTER RACE LOLOLOL **** CONSOLES LOLOLOLOL MAC < GARBAGE LOLOLOL" and so on...

Okay, a Mac is a worse computer than a PC, and I accept that fact. I would choose a PC over a Mac anyday, I just don't have the money to waste (if only someone told me before I bought a Mac...). But Macs are not garbage. Sure, the gaming on here isn't the best but the video editing software is great, and people who are die hard, non douchey fans of PCs have admitted that. So, in the end, is a Mac really worthless? Not at all.

Oh, hey, thanks for that lovely piece of advice, guy. ._. Way to pour salt on the wound.

These little subtle things **** me right off. You can be a gamer that uses a Mac, it's just that your limited to some games and the quality isn't all that great. Not to mention that there are ROMs and Wrappers to play most other games. I'm not saying that a Mac is a gaming computer, ohhhh HELL NO. Not even close. As a Mac user myself, I can say that the games are the things that makes me want to throw my laptop at the wall. But what I am saying is that you can get good quality games on a Mac, and run them perfectly. Hell, earlier today I was recording a Minecraft video with high graphics and everything and I had an average frame rate of about 25.

I will admit, though, that last comment that guy posted made me laugh my ass off... XD

But, the point of this post wasn't to boast about Macs. It was to get the whole "PC fanboy circle jerk" thing across. I know I'm not the only one who's annoyed with all this. I have many, many different friends that own PC's and aren't complete douche bags about it and are also sick and tired of it all.

    Aren't you all?!
