    when holding a slimball if you right click a piston it will make it sticky and can then be used to both pull and push objects

    A few suggestions take them or leave them.

    1 floating trees: to make them look more natural put wood in thee center like a core and surround it with leaves. Leaves could have a chance of dropping a sort of gold fodder which when combined with 9 others and smelted would give gold which is really important in aether right?

    2 Sentries : Should move only on the ground as if being dragged and make a noise similar to concrete rubbing on concrete. They could be invulnerable to arrows but for the least try to make arrows get stuck on them as if hitting a block instead of just vanishing. You could change the rank of bronze to stone(or diamond since its worthless in aether) and let the the sentries colour mimic the dungeon rank. stone rank sentries could make the player intangible when he is hit and blast hit straight out of the room. after the dungeon is beaten or maybe even before (its beaten) how about the letting the player craft a simple iron handle made and shaped like a iron rectangle which has no bottom to let the player hold sentries like lasers, flash lights and tools

    3 aerwhales : can should stay untamable but we need to be able to stand on them, they could also have nest which they fly between giving limited transportation without killing them for airships and also making their movement less random(hate those bouncy cows) they do however only head in the general direction of their nest at when the nest is reached they simply circle around it at multiple angles. Making them tilt and bend like fish or planes could make there movement more natural.

    4 Dungeons : first know that i cant completely grasp the structure of them but they should have galestone often pushing the player away from the treasure. Cold clouds that the player can fall throuth(throo?) anyway that would make it a bit less combat oriented

    5 Sun spots ? this was inspired my the meteors idea random blocks that arent taking shade by anything getting even brighter daey time light that hurt the player due to its heat(still not hot enough to cause fire) let even the air the sun spots is affecting have a golden or orange tint.

    6 Liquid gold : when a sun spot touches water it should create aether original chemical liquid gold

    This will be as a dangerous fuel it can be collected with a normal/maybe golden bucket it will glow and give of no fumes maybe a bit of gold glitter but nothing else it cannot revert to normal water, can be used in furnace for better fuel than lava and when combined with other liquids aether tree leaves .

    when touched by anything not from nether this includes :Zombie: :Skeleton: :Spider: :SSSS: it will heal and cool this if touching a nether life it will kill but not destroy drops it will purify netherack and turn it into grass
    and turn soul sand it floatsand.

    when right clicked with flint and steel the liquid turn bright blue and shoots out a huge amount of icy cool blue flames and the strongest winds. i was thinking of using them as propulsion units for air ships(friking nitro)

    once again i love your mods and request your views.

    I'm a fan of all of Firehazurd's work, but the Moa is one of the things I like least, and I specifically do NOT like it for the Aether. There are already flying pigs, and support for Airships with the idea that Ghasts and Aerwhales that could be made to drop Gas Bladders that could be used as a more stable airship material. All of this gives the players options that DON'T need to include a mob that can directly injure the player. At the VERY least, if the Mao is going to be in the Aether, it should be an incredibly skittish bird who flies as high as possible and rarely lands, possibly something that needs to be baited or grabbed with the fishing rod in order to capture, and will only try to run away and not attack the player. I have no issues with the Moa being hostile in the Overworld, but I do object to having the directly hostile mobs in the Aether.


    I think you may have misunderstood how Moa's work. Moa's are actually very friendly and they will not attack the player (even when provoked). The biggest problem I see with the idea of Airships is that they are not reliable. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Gas Bladders will be used as fuel for the Airships, right? Well, I don't think that's very balanced. The Aether is an extremely hard dimension to traverse, imagine having to constantly kill Aerwhales which will probably drop their Gas Bladders into the void, or Ghasts dropping theirs into lava. I just think it would become frustrating to use.

    Moa's, on the other hand, only need to be tamed once and then you can use it until it perishes (dies). That doesn't mean they are easy to tame though. They also don't technically "fly", they simply glide and can do a few mid-air jumps. I don't know, what are your thoughts on this? I don't think it's a bad idea to have several methods of traversing the Aether.


    On the subject of aerwhal bladders no it wont be fuel it is an organ and according to te littlle knowledge i have on fish it would suck in air to make itself lighter if you attached it to a vechile it would be a sort of air submarine
    in short its a part not the fuel
