So is there actually going to be a point when the game is feature complete and we don't have to restart our worlds each patch or else walk 10 miles to get to the new content?
The answer is it barely takes any time to explore 128 chunks/48,000 blocks, like 10 minutes or less maybe. With a world of 1,000,000 m^2, it would take a very very long time to fill out, probably longer than any of you could ever develop. I've been running a small server for a year next month and we haven't traveled farther than 5 km from the spawn point.
I think finite water would be alright as long as there were some form of ecological water cycle and there were things like conveyor belts to make monster traps work.
In terms of the feelings I get, I find Minecraft highly similar to the System Shock games, which some consider to be some of the scariest games. It's pretty much just tension though. "Will I make it back up alive?" "Is there a creeper around the corner?" "Wow this is a big dark room, monsters could come from anywhere" etc.
You sick f*ck you have girlfriend thats twelve?
Anyway, its perfectly fine but you should tottally get a texture pack that makes everyone pink and stuff. But make sure you watch her when shes playing.
Haha yea I was like "12 years old, what the" then I saw that he was 13
And of course you would know that for sure, anyway it was only one example :').
If anything, IGN massively overinflates scores. And I "know" because I used Metacritic, the closest thing to objectivity in this case, and talked about it with the people I used to play ET with. I even enjoyed BC 2 more than Brink, and I only got that game once it went down to $5.
I keep getting the trial and then realizing that I don't have it in me to subscribe to another MMO, especially one that's so dependent on human resources that I don't have
foreveralone
right now I'm a brutor, training cruisers to see if I can manage to pilot a Rupture before my trial runs out (I have 7 days left in the trial, Rupture already in hangar)

I can hardly get a scope lined up properly within a second or two, not that I've tried very hard
