posted a message on The Wyvern

The wyvern is an ostrich-sized rideable mob. It has a green body, with black insectoid legs, wings like on the Wikipedia page image for dragon, hexagonal rings of grey spikes on the tail and and ender dragon head on the tail tip. The head looks like an ender dragon head, but green with the eyes on the side. They eat foliage, and travel in herds. They graze, but occasionally look up, and if they see or feel something dangerous, they shriek. When they hear a shriek, they run from the danger. They have a powerful kick, and are damaging if you run into their back. They breathe a blue mist, which causes a debuff which stops controls and model changes. If feed seeds, they will be tamed, and can be ridden about very fast. If a weapon moves nearby to them, they will rear up if being ridden, and will run away. If you ride with an empty hand, right click will make the wyvern breathe ice. They are bred with apples. There is a 1/5 chance that wyverns breed a zilant. Zilants are fire-proof wyverns that can jump high, and shoot explosive fireballs instead of ice. They have orange-red feather wings.

The cyclops is a hostile mob the size and stats of a giant. It is grey-cyan-blue, and wears a brown loincloth. It has a red mouth which is full of yellow teeth. It has 2 large eyes, which stick out of the side of the head, have black-blue pupils, and have large brown rims. It also has a smaller, rimless eye on the front of his face. When badly hurt, it turns upside-down, makes its eyes go down to touch the ground, and starts going very fast. It drops the wheel, which is use to make the chariot, a piece of horse equipment which allows another person to ride in a chariot behind the horse, and control the horse in absence of a rider. That is used to make the cart, another piece of equipment, which is like a chariot, but with a cart on the back that allows 4 more people to ride the horse. This would not make joined mine carts obsolete, as the cart can only carry 6 players at most, and cannot carry mobs.

posted a message on Trains! Oh Mojang why have you forsaken thine Minecarts!

No-one has yet addressed that there is no multi-person transportation system except follow the leader. This would make transporting lots of players/mobs, or transporting stuff to a shop so much easier

    Support.

    Quote from Wolftopia»

This is an interesting idea, but I can't support it before I know the following:

    1. Where do you find this creature?

    2. Can you obtain access to this creature before the you get the elytra?

    3. If not, is it (in your eyes) better or worse that the elytra?

    4. Is it passive or neutral before tamed?

    5. Does it actively hunt chickens? (Like wolves hunt sheep)

    It is found near cliffs.

It only spawns after the portal to the outer end is open, and it is rarer than end ships, so you can get it before you get elytra, but it is hard to do.
It is slower and less ocean-going than the elytra, but with a more reusable power source.
It is neutral, and becomes hostile when it is morning, or the first half of the night, or it is fed rabbit meat, but if hit, will run off, or fly off when it reaches a high enough cliff, until 1/4 day has passed since the attack.
It actively hunts any flying mob, except the ender dragon.
It drops leather and feathers, and has a chance to spawn parrots, bats or chickens upon death.

What about if it was just like a regular villager in human form? This would make seeing werewolves at night much more unexpected.

that is a better idea than the 1 in the suggestion

    posted a message on Minokawa

The minokawa is a rare tameable mob that can be ridden and flown. To take off, the flight bar must be full. the flight bar is filled by falling down, or crouching. When it is not on the ground, it can glide. It is tamed by feeding it chicken. When it is in the ocean, gliding takes a small amount of flight bar, and flight takes more flight bar. If it runs out of flight bar, it will start gliding, or falling if over the ocean. It is controlled like the elytra, and space makes it go faster, or 'fly'. It looks like Tupandactylus imperator, but with feathers instead of a wing membrane, and a bird tail.

posted a message on Not needing to eat is not Peaceful....

Part of the peaceful difficulty not lowering hunger is the fact that you can spawn on a desert island, ages away from any food whatsoever. A new player shouldn't be subject to beginner-impossible death if they just want to learn the basics. Sure, it's a low chance, but just look at how many people play and have played Minecraft. Low chances aren't insignificant.

if you spawn on a desert island, you would just turn off hunger

    posted a message on bugges

This mob sounds terrible. It's tankier than an Elder Guardian, also being able to knock you back as much, if not further, as a Knockback 2 sword. You're missing the drops and recipes, and bug scales shouldn't even be able to teleport. Why is it that small if it's a boss? The portals won't help at all. It would be easier to just make a staircase or other path than to use these. Also, is it possible to break these portals in case you misplace them?

    Basically, what is their purpose?

I edited it a bit to make it more balanced, the portals are breakable and once you set up the portal, you can easily get around quickly forever, without inputing resources.

    posted a message on bugges

The bugge is a 2m tall hostile mob. It looks like a half-transparent, green, six-legged, sprawling, fat thing, with a long dragging tail, a small lizard head, and 4 large elytra-like wings. It has 10 amour points, and 25 health points. Its attack knocks the player back 5m, and deals 1 heart of damage. Its speed means if you start 5m away from it, it would get you after you go 20m. It will walk after you, and can walk on fluids. If it goes into fire or on to lava of magma blocks, it will jump 3m high, and start flying, and land when it gets on to other block. It will also start flying if it cannot get to you by walking, and will land when it can. It flies at 1/4 of its walking speed. It cannot cross over running water, but it can cross under it. If you are fully submerged in fluid, in fire, on magma blocks, or on the other side of a line of running water that does not have a visible end to the bugge, it will become passive until it sees a player with none of those conditions. If it is standing on water, and the water starts to flow, it is launched in the direction that the line between the centre of the body and the centre of the water points, or a random direction if the 2 points are at the same place. It drops bug scales, which are used to make mirror portals. They are shiny black, quarter blocks that goes on walls. The back and side are gold on the in one and silver on the out one. If you put redstone between the two portals, they are linked. If multiple out portals are connected, using them will kill you. Otherwise, it will teleport you.
