I see two pages ago it was mentioned that other shaders used through optifine aren't compatible. However I've found a post on github where a user claims to have gotten things working by setting his shader to only operate in world0. link
Does anyone here have any experience setting a shader to only work in the overworld? I cannot for the life of me find the shaders.properties file.

That's a long ways off given that devs are still arguing with Lex over the new rendering system. Mix that with Aether's long development periods, and there's basically no hope. Basic compatibly really needs to be taken more seriously then extra features. Your user base will jump significantly, once the FTB community is able to legitimately consider adding Aether to modpacks. Galacticraft and Tinkers Construct were able to figure out how to prevent their gui tabs from conflicting without delay to their own projects.
Even if run standalone, there really isn't any reason why Aether can't provide more config options. If compatibility isn't going to be worked on, just let users disable Aether's features that won't play nice. Aether is amazing, but dropping 50 mods that play nice, for one that lacks even configs is tough package to sell.

The problem is kids like you who refuse to understand how things work. You hear "DRM" and instantly flip without considering its purpose. Railcraft DRM didnt limit users abilities to download or make backups of their files. Railcraft drm simply tried to protect the integrity of the file.

With all due respect, as that message currently stands it is simply a smear campaign forced on all users every time they want to play their game. We get it, you hate Greg, but for our communities sake just stop.

I and quite a few other players, do infact care about cosmetic mods. Animated player alone has 126 pages on these forums; In compassion this mod has 88. Please understand that I'm not trying to compare userbases, only bring to your attention that players, very much so, like player customization. Given that Galacticraft offers no alternatives please consider adding support. I'm not requesting you change anything in regards to how gameplay functions within your mod. Only that you expand compatibility.
