Yes. Though I'd check on the specs of your computer, and make sure it plays friendly with minecraft. According to you though, i think the BSoD came from the viruses.
Not sure. Servers can be swamped sometimes. Find something else to do. If you dont get the email within a day (which means something's really wrong), you'll have to try to contact mojang. Im not sure on how you should. But i'd say you'll get that email. Just wait :biggrin.gif:
Im in high school, and my computer math teacher said that we might be able to use minecraft to learn more about Java and Java Script by coding mods, etc.. Minecraft can be used as an educational tool. Calm down, John Proctor.
