    Which version are you using? They should not even spawn at all. It might also be possible that you are experiencing a mod biome conflict.

    You're right, 1.7.10 and 1.8.9 got updated. 1.8 won't ever get updated again because 1.8.9 is here, so there is no reason to further use 1.8.

    Yes, 1.8.9.
    I haven't had a chance to look at this integration, I've been mainly focussed on fixing bugs, and developing a new mod. Once that's done, I can look into some more EvilCraft content.

    The Spirit Machine should be working again just fine in the newest release, did you try it out already?

    As promised, new updates for both 1.7.10 and 1.8.9 are out now. (Download links in original post)

    A lot of things have been fixed in both versions, and the Entangled Chalice and Box of Eternal Closure finally have (new!) models in 1.8.9.

    Well, I just finished implementing the new chalice and box of eternal closure models yesterday :)
    I just have a few more things to do, and the I'll publish a new release.
    This might either be later today, or tomorrow. But most likely tomorrow ;)

    I'm not able to reproduce the crash you had with the same Thaumcraft and TCon versions, so I guess it's being caused by some other mod.
    Just to be safe, I added some extra checks in the EvilCraft code, which will be present in the next bugfix release.

    This line
    [16:03:41] [Client thread/ERROR] [FML/]: Caught exception from evilcraft

    is not necessarily the cause of that crash. It is possible that there was a (caught) crash during startup time, but for that I'd need to see the complete forge log, not just the crash log.

    These should work (untested):

    evilcraft.world.gen.OreGenerator
    evilcraft.world.gen.DarkTempleGenerator
    evilcraft.world.gen.EvilDungeonGenerator
    evilcraft.world.gen.NetherfishSpawnGenerator

    If you only want to regen Dark Ore, just use the first line.


    Note that EvilCraft also has the option to retrogen in its config file should this not work.

    It should be disableable, but apparently I need to fix that for next version...
    Alternatively, you can simply increase the rarity of the temple spawning, that should fix your problem.

    Can I ask why you find the loot too OP?

    You're right, that was also the first thing I thought when I heard about Intangible. I'll look into it.
