A suggestion to the developer: Maybe this should be made modular, so we can get "real" animals and creatures separately from "mythological" animals and creatures. I know the spawn rates can be set to zero, but if it is expected that many people wont want to use them at all, shouldn't it be a separate package?
PS: when is blood going to stop being busy, I'm willing to take a crack at helping him with the SMP update even though I'm not exactly a professional java programmer. I DO know some java and c++ (which shares most functionalities with java analogs)
I can't get it to work at all. it asks where minecraft.jar is and then has a fatal error.

A friend of mine tested earlier versions of this mod and mentioned that some HD packs did not work with it at the time specifically those that used "animated fluid textures" that apparently used a different class in another HD support mod to render the water animations. Has this issue been addressed?
could we please stop using bukkit? it doesn't really work all that well and play nice with other mod systems. Shift over to something less derpy like minecraft forge.
somethings weird with the flan plane mod, its supposed to use different models for the different planes and we're stuck with one model for all of them, (also they don't face the direction they're moving correctly).
I did install turbo model thingy and followed the directions, its probably due to some sort of conflict with other mods.
We also have industrialcraft & buildcraft.
edit: just tested in Single player for completeness, it does appear to work properly there, so something is bonkers with the server-side behavior.
