Just hope you continue develop in 1.7.10 most mods aren't in 1.8 yet even after 1 yr so we have to get mods in 1.7.10 still.
well. to tell you the truth. there will no updating to 1.8.. many mod authors have decided to skip 1.8 and wait for 1.9... the main reason is that every mods to be update to 1.8 would require a completely rewrite.. from the square one. sorry. you will have to stick with 1.7.10 and play with mods from now.
i would like to report some bugs that you may already know. I am using the mod in server and in a modpack, but whenever i used the "maintenance mode" to make a small change to the elevator.. then i get out of that mode.. it cause a bug and not working. due to that, i had to do it all over again to get it working properly. and also try make the "floor of the elevator" moving much more smooth in server.

Yup.. thats the bug i was talking about.. sorry about my lacks of details. and there is also one more bug.. where you would use the elevator to go up to floor 32.. then back to the "ground level"... thats where the glitches start there.. because i would want to go back to floor 32 for third time using the elevator.. (first time is to Floor 32) and ( second time is to go to ground level).. and yup. the block stay on ground level. but in reality, the real blocks already gone to floor 32 but its invisible.. and i would try to call it back to ground level.. it kind of replicated the "floor of the elevator" two of them.. (one stay on the ground level and the other is coming from the floor 32).
If you want more blocks to be turned into FMP microblocks, you just add their internal name enclosed in quotes, followed by a colon and then the relevant metadata range into the configuration file. So you'd have in your configuration file exactly this:
"minecraft:quartz_block":0-2
And then you'll be able to cut up the smooth block, the carved block, and the pillar.
Regarding the mod author quitting: for which mod? Carpenter's Blocks? If so, he posted right above yours, and is still maintaining and updating this mod. He's not quit at all. The only accuracy being that so far it isn't being updated to 1.8, due to it seemingly requiring a complete rewrite if being possible at all.

Hi kluckart. If you go into the railcraft config folder and the blocks.cfg file there is a line called "B:residual.heat=true" setting that to false is one of the first things I do when building a pack. This also increases the performance when looking at tanks etc.
ah. yes thats the solution. thank you.. and indeed it does increase the fps. and now i have no problem using the shaders as i would like to.
After all the research i have done and also been talking to the KCauldron guys, this mod simply isnt fixed for the Forge 1464 Fluid Renderer that was introduced then, making issues with any Forge build above 1463. The only thing you can do is put Forge on build 1448, wich is both the best and recommended version
EDIT: Sorry, by looking at your log i see you actually are running 1448, well the mod has been buggy since 1.2.6 was released anyway, so you just have to wait, but dont have much hope, since people reported bugs like this, that one on the bug tracker with servers, weeks have gone since then...

I dont know if you can fix it or is there a way i can fix it.. the bug in railcraft is where i would just walking around anywhere on the land.. and at same time, i am also leaving an invisible block behind.. and from what i see in MCedit, its a "residual Heat" from Railcraft. its not corrupting my saved world in my server.. but its affecting my performance of "FPS" making it lose few fps as theres more and more invisible block left around on these land i have already walked around.
let me know if there is anything i can do to prevent this.. or fix it somehow.
Just use one of the microblock mods. We don't need another one of that kind.
there is a reason why i asked for such a request.. the latest Forge Multipart is not working with Pillar Quartz.. anymore... i dont know why.. dont ask me.. i even report it to the author for that mod.. none is happening.. for last 2 months.. so its useless. thats why i requested such a request..
and i couldn't turn the pillar quartz into "1/2 V-slab pillar" or microblocks.
and the microblock mod is not good because of the ingredient to make a saw is too expensive. only one diamond saw.. its not good balanced.
now that should explain why i posted a request and thats my opinion about microblock block (immiblis) if i recall.
and in future. I dont know if "Forge Multipart ingratiation" will be updated to future version if not 1.8, then 1.8.x ...
it may not updated or not. theres no telling.. so in future this mod will be very useful.. and i want to use 1/2 Vertical slab (pillar) on ship because this mod is really working with a ship mod (Cuchaz's mod). Forge multipart or any microblocks dont work with the ship mod. so i am just saying.
can you add one more blocks to this mod.. its a block where you can make the block smaller and be placed in the center (just like forge multipart)
where they can be called pillar, stick, other names thats a bit larger than "stick". so can you included these to the mods as well. i would love to use them.
another way to say it... its a half of "vertical slab" where you can call it "pillar". that should make it sense.
Still, pretty typical to drop from 200 FPS to ~30 FPS depending on the shaderpack.
SEUS is the most demanding by far.
Chocapic/Sildur and other derivatives are pretty close in performance, depending on what features the author left enabled in the various pack levels. You'll probably find the Extreme versions still perform better than SEUS.

my monitor is a 25" and it can do 1080p as well
and i dont know whats holding my GPU back and i know its only used up to 10-30% of its power to get 20-30.. then down to 10fps (which is 10%). i can't find the cause. i have been looking for many and many causes in forum and discussion all over the google. everywhere. :'( not even you know why or have any idea. what i want is to understand WHY!

sigh okay. i run one very interesting test.. two test:
playing in server
playing in singleplayer
So in singleplayer, my fps was fine.. it was constant, 30-40fps and my gpu is using 70-80% of its power which is good
but in Server, my fps was having a loss, not same as in singleplayer because it went from 30-40 to 10-20 then 10. so you already know this part. thats not only thing. i also knew that my GPU is only using 40-49% of its power. Now i dont know why its like that.
now it look like server has its own "video setting" where its limiting my fps.. I wish that would true. so i could have fix it. but i dont know why server is holding my gpu back.
I tested it in extremely and ultra of "Chocapic"... in server.. extremely and ultra, they are almost close to be same.. so the constant fps is 19... extremely is from 16-18. ultra is 17-20. now this is quite a mystery.. and when "extremely" was used, it caused the GPU to use 10% more of its power from the original when i was using ultra.
now i have to find out how to make GPU increase its power to 70-80%.. NOT 40-50%

I want to report a bug in railcraft:
I dont know if you can fix it or is there a way i can fix it.. the bug in railcraft is where i would just walking around anywhere on the land.. and at same time, i am also leaving an invisible block behind.. and from what i see in MCedit, its a "residual Heat" from Railcraft. its not corrupting my saved world in my server.. but its affecting my performance of "FPS" making it lose few fps as theres more and more invisible block left around on these land i have already walked around.
let me know if there is anything i can do to prevent this.. or fix it somehow.

there is a reason why i asked for such a request.. the latest Forge Multipart is not working with Pillar Quartz.. anymore... i dont know why.. dont ask me.. i even report it to the author for that mod.. none is happening.. for last 2 months.. so its useless. thats why i requested such a request..
and i couldn't turn the pillar quartz into "1/2 V-slab pillar" or microblocks.
and the microblock mod is not good because of the ingredient to make a saw is too expensive. only one diamond saw.. its not good balanced.
now that should explain why i posted a request and thats my opinion about microblock block (immiblis) if i recall.
and in future. I dont know if "Forge Multipart ingratiation" will be updated to future version if not 1.8, then 1.8.x ...
it may not updated or not. theres no telling.. so in future this mod will be very useful.. and i want to use 1/2 Vertical slab (pillar) on ship because this mod is really working with a ship mod (Cuchaz's mod). Forge multipart or any microblocks dont work with the ship mod. so i am just saying.

can you add one more blocks to this mod.. its a block where you can make the block smaller and be placed in the center (just like forge multipart)
where they can be called pillar, stick, other names thats a bit larger than "stick". so can you included these to the mods as well. i would love to use them.
another way to say it... its a half of "vertical slab" where you can call it "pillar". that should make it sense.

is that so. hmm. i know my RAM is 1333-DDR3 4GB (two of them) anyway.
my monitor is a 25" and it can do 1080p as well
and i dont know whats holding my GPU back and i know its only used up to 10-30% of its power to get 20-30.. then down to 10fps (which is 10%). i can't find the cause. i have been looking for many and many causes in forum and discussion all over the google. everywhere. :'( not even you know why or have any idea. what i want is to understand WHY!

sigh okay. i run one very interesting test.. two test:
playing in server
playing in singleplayer
So in singleplayer, my fps was fine.. it was constant, 30-40fps and my gpu is using 70-80% of its power which is good
but in Server, my fps was having a loss, not same as in singleplayer because it went from 30-40 to 10-20 then 10. so you already know this part. thats not only thing. i also knew that my GPU is only using 40-49% of its power. Now i dont know why its like that.
now it look like server has its own "video setting" where its limiting my fps.. I wish that would true. so i could have fix it. but i dont know why server is holding my gpu back.
I tested it in extremely and ultra of "Chocapic"... in server.. extremely and ultra, they are almost close to be same.. so the constant fps is 19... extremely is from 16-18. ultra is 17-20. now this is quite a mystery.. and when "extremely" was used, it caused the GPU to use 10% more of its power from the original when i was using ultra.
now i have to find out how to make GPU increase its power to 70-80%.. NOT 40-50%

anyway is there a way i can improve fps with RAM or vRAM? and i have a decent gpu and its good enough to run shader where i can get 40-50 fps but what i can't figure it out is why it start to lose fps after few minutes. im trying to find the cause.
