I am looking for any mod 1.7.10/1.10.2 that has a feature where it can make your survival more challenging and interesting. Let's start with Woods. First, you make an axe to chop down a tree to get logs. Then you use a handsaw to craft the logs into lumber or planks. It is just like how people would get lumber from woods in real life when they were living in the old age with tools to craft lumber (no factories to do works for them. I posted this thread to check to see if there are any more mods and I did my research to find these mods. These mods are far as I know have the feature:
-TerraFirmCraft (1.7.10)(won't update to 1.10.2 or whatever for reasons)
-WoodCraft (is not in 1.7.10, its outdated @ 1.6.4 so its assumed "dead")
-Survivalist (1.10.2) (a bit unrealistic because it use chopping block where u chop down woods, where you get planks)
If you know any mods that have a feature like that, then I would appreciate that you share the name or title.
Ok so I downloaded the program, and now I'm wondering how I get it to generate a world with custom terrain generation , to be more specific I'm using this. https://sites.google.com/site/biomebundle/ Biome bundle, it's a forge mod . I'm a noob here can someone please tell me how I would get this terrain generation mod to work with this program!
take a look at post #1444 (its found on page 71)
it has an instruction of how to use MLG with forge mod server
Do anyone know the solution to fix the problem where I was at 96% doing a 20,000 x 20,000. it was freezing. so I went to task manager to end it, but what I found is stranger, when I click "end" to end the java program (MLG), it doesn't end the program and instead of ending, it un-freezing the program and keep going on to do one chunk and then frozen again.
But is there a chance or does anybody know if there will be a version that supports 1.9?
I am sure there is a version of 1.10.2 but something prevents Nuchaz from releasing the mod 1.10.2. its a bug in Forge which hasn't fixed yet. so I am sure you can use 1.10.2 mod in a 1.9.4 version... but there is no version 1.9 planned as far as I know.
good work on your shader. I would suggest one thing that you should improve is the brightening of the moon at night time. the moon is a little too darkening. so try brightening the moon a bit more. if you know how.. please tell me what can i do.
Is the green tint a problem? and are you running on 1.7.10? High, Ultra, and Extreme uses a different rendering code (something like that) which 1.7.10 can't render.
oh ok.. yes i am running 1.7.10.. if thats the case, where do i find the correct shader for minecraft 1.7.10. I dont realize that it is not designed for 1.7.10.
i have a problem with your shader. i tried High or Ultra, i got the effecting where i can see square everywhere on my screen.. but the lightning is not right.. at night time or day time.. My GPU is 580GTX
is there any known issue with my GPU? i also followed your instruction to have the correct setting in video setting
hmm okay, i just checked inside the 2.3 version of Dynmap mod.. i see that it has support for carpenter mod, but you say it doesn't support.. that suggest the renderdata is outdated because the version is carpenter mod is updated to latest version (my best guess).. and i dont see that it have any chisel 2 mod support..
^ good thought.. but i think i will add a few things that would give you a good thought about giving a good suggestion give a good improvement of this mod (Tough as Nails)
if you are drinking a tea (for example, from Pam's harvestcraft) it should heat you up as well. it would be useful during winter season, drinking cold water (like with ice) would cool you down... can be useful during summer...
with my experiences with "tough as nails" i had to go in water to cool myself down when i am too hot or warming up.. and i dont see my thirst going down would be affected by that.. u know when we get hot.. we would sweat a lot to cool down... but when we get thirst, we should be getting hot because we are not sweating.. so the rest of it you get the whole idea of what i am going to say the rest of other things. its also matter of a good balance with thirst and temperature. the best location is dessert, i am sure you already remember that thirst can has to do with temperature.
another thought, a house would be warmed up with fire or furance.. but if you opened a door, some of heats would lost to the surround/environment... if we had temperature that indicating the warmth of the house OR cold-th of the house.. it could be useful to maintaining our temperature during winter or summer.
This house is made mostly of Chisle2 and Carpenter Blocks but its just shows up as this
that is because dynmap do not have any mod support for Chisel2 and carpenter mod.. and the mod support haven't been updated to support these mods. but if its 1.7.10, i guess it would be fine because there are supports for mod 1.7.10.. but 1.10.2, i dont think so.
i asked the same questions twice regarding how to fix the dynmap to support mods..using version 1.10.2.. but NONE!
