    i am using few mods following:


    Biome O plenty

    Realistic Terrain Generation

    Geographicraft

    Tinkers Construct


    but i must say there is a problem with the Geographicraft setting.. i thought it was RTG (realistic terrain Generation) which spawned these village in Ocean and Deep Ocean.. but i realized it was the GGC setting and i found the config.. but both line of "oceanbiomevillage" are false..

    is there something wrong with the line.. and i shouldn't have villages in ocean or deep ocean..

    i am sure its chroma hills. but i want to know how can i get that "Glass-pane" i really liked that glass. and i also tried chroma Hills and it do not have that glass..


    anyone know how i can get that glass-pane? :(

    Thank you very much for your answer ! I don't really need to play in 512x but without this I can not test the look of the shader support I have made for the 512x R3D and my test shaderpack (Continuum PBR) changes the depth of the POM with the resolution of the pack. So I do know how the POM looks like with the 512x R3D (it seems that the depth is too high).

    If you still have the OpenGL error then there is one more thing, you may want to try.. its not a guaranteed solution.. try run your minecraft as Administrator.. and see if it only temporary fix the OpenGL error. with the pack you are using. 512x512. so please let me know the result of how it went.

    Try check your config.. if it look just right. then try delete it and let the dynmap create a new config.. then you can fill the current IP and see if you can get it working.. But if you found something wrong inside the config.. then you know what to do.


    i am not sure why you have trouble trying access dynmap website while your friends has no problem. From what it look like is probably an internal IP is the problem that you need to look in it or investigate to find something is not right. thats the best i can come up. I hope other people can help you with that.

    the short case is:


    i have generated a 5000x5000 land with "minecraft land generator".. the mod are:


    RTG

    Biome O plenty

    Tconstruct

    and few other mods. but its irrelevant.


    I have enabled the RTG to use BOP but it created a large ocean and it have some lands and 1 or 2 island.. its almost like a realistic ocean.. but the reason why its "almost" is because there are village.. like a dozen of them is generated on these ocean.. they are supposed to be on lands.. not on ocean?


    the question is there a setting in config that can fix this?


    EDIT: never mind.. i thought it was RTG but its not this mod.. it was Geographicraft that did the village in ocean... Sorry i made a mistake.. so just ignore the post above..

    i am sure you know its not realistic for village to be on ocean.. some village are above the water around the swamp or lake (some can be seen in few movies).. .. wood pole (you can use these woods as a pole in minecraft) are used to hold these houses or small houses (its very extremely small house, my guess their size would similar to a house in africa, very small one) above the water.. you could included it in RTG.

    my textures are white (excepts entities and all leaves, grass...) with
    R3D Craft 512x (other resolution works fine and I can run other 512x
    packs too). I repost this bug here because it is really annoying and I
    find nothing about it (I have try to turn OFF and ON everything on
    Optifine). It happen only with Optifine, the default Minecraft looks
    good but not optimized for 512x ressource packs (and I need a
    compatibility with the shadermod).

    Have you any idea about why this happen ?

    hey thats the exactly same problem i have had.. when i tried to use 512x.. i was also using 1.10.2. 0_0.. it is always a mystery to why its happening like that. btw i also used R3Dcraft as well and optifine for 1.10.2 is installed as well.


    and TheAddictionN974, you are correct, it has to do with OpenGL, but for me, when i tried to run 512x, i looked at the log as i used that pack in minecraft 1.10.2 and there are lot of errors which has to do with OpenGL. its showing like this:

    a long list like this one.. a really long one.. as you can see "GL ERROR" suggest OpenGL has a problem when i ran the pack. but nobody know why its causing such errors.. when its related to OpenGL.


    EDIT: there is one more thing i forgot to mention.. the reason why i said that OpenGL error is a mystery. I even removed Optifine and run a completely vanilla minecraft with that 512x.. i got the same problem.. so even Optifine is not related to OpenGL error but its related to pre-render.. OpenGL also has to do with pre-render.


    you may want to remove optifine and try run a vanilla minecraft with that pack.. to see if it works for you or give you the same result/problem. There are lot of factors that could cause a OpenGL error which is why its mystery.

    I am looking for a modder who know a lot about the change between 1.7.10 and 1.9.4 or 1.10.2. I have spoke to the original author of the mod.. and he said that i can have a mod ported to a 1.10.2 but you will need to read GPL license and if you are familiar with it. Thats good.

    by "direct ip:8123" do you mean external IP?

    well i am sure you already know that you can join your server by using internal IP which is the same thing for dynmap.. but with 8123.. Edit: well basically, your friend use the external IP to join your IP.. and you are inside your own network which is internal IP that you can use to join your server..

    "internal IP:8123" for youself, and "external IP:8123" for your friends.. so are you having problem with the internal IP trying to connect to the website using dynmap?

    Thats what i am trying to find out... but there is one way you can do that. you need to find "index" file inside the dynmap.. the problem is i can't figure it out how to make it work.. index allow you to look at the map without running the server.. there is one mod that has the same feature.. as "index" file does.

    i would like to suggest the system where you can walking around the ship while the ship is sailling. that would be great... its also a system where you dont need to use the seat... (through seat can be used in submarine). and submarine can use a different type of helm since we are talking about submarine.. i dont know what submarine's helm look like.


    it would be fun just stand next to the helm and driving/sailing. then you can leave helm alone and walk around the ship while that ship is sailing toward across the huge ocean..


    i am using RTG with BOP.. i am quite surprised to see a real ocean.. its quite realistic ocean which can be used with this mod. its a lot better than vanilla's ocean.


    i would like to see that system in future... but if you say its impossible.. i have to say yes its possible, there is another mod that is able to do this system.

    for anyone except the author.. if you want to use 1.9 version.. then you should wait for the mod to be updated to 1.10.2..

    you could try use 1.10.2 on a minecraft 1.9.4, it could work. i haven't tried it. but i did tried use 1.9.4 mods on minecraft 1.10.2 and it work.. but some mods dont work.. its worth to trying to see if its possible or not.


    FYI, i have heard that there is not much of changes between 1.9.4 and 1.10.2.
