What is your favorite thing to do in Minecraft? I really like building and landscaping. I tend to do everything manually, even when faced with automation mods, and i can easily spend hours terraforming an area to build my base. What is your favorite/preferred base/building style? Casually I like to build houses, usually leaning toward victorian style, always starting with a basement and a mining staircase and building up from that. I will sometimes build cave bases if I'm focused on mining or hardcore survival. What is your favorite memory you have made in Minecraft? My favorite memory has to been when I found a community to join for the first time. An acquaintance of mine heard I liked minecraft and invited me to a server he was playing on. It was the first time playing minecraft with other people besides my husband, and I enjoyed it so much that I ended up wanting to make videos of the gameplay with my friends, which lead to my content creation on both youtube and twitch. The community was fun, though over time the owner got too busy to really keep a server going. I have continued to keep in touch with a few of the friends I made for the past several years. What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP? Currently the latest updates. Modded minecraft isn't keeping up. The ocean update drew me back into playing vanilla vs modded, and playing by myself gets a bit boring. There's no one to share with, build with, explore with. I really want to explore the new village system and all the current updates, but playing by myself just gets repetitive and unexciting. Outside of Minecraft, what kinds of activities/hobbies do you enjoy? I enjoy art, anime, reading, gardening, and gaming.

Ah, so there are some bug reports on it, thank you! For some reason I couldn't access the 'bug reports' (I tried clicking the button in the snapshot and got a gateway 502 error, and just going to "bug.mojang.com" kept timing me out) so I wasn't able to see if anyone reported it or not.
I wanted to check out the newest snapshot, so I created a new save file. However, I am having nearly no hostile mobs spawn? I'm playing survival mode, normal difficulty, and can easily walk around unlit caves and around at night with pretty much nothing spawning. I thought hostile mobs might have even been disabled until 2 zombies happened to spawn at night. Has anyone else had this issue? Is this a bug, or is this a setting I can fix in the config? If I can fix it via the config, where would I look to do that?
