    also if you run mac there is an inv editor called invgrid that lets you change your spawn position. It doesnt do ONLY that, and i know thats what you are looking for, but you dont really have to use any of the other features.

    i have to admit there is a lot of mods out there that do the exact same thing. my personal fave is the diamond fist.

    HOWEVER.

    I do like the idea of this mod; it makes it so that you have to get the items legitly and if i understand correctly it only makes the tool use faster, without upping the resistance to breaking. I have a friend who is adamant about not adding new items and not modding his invy; this is perfect for him and people like him. im not going to dl simply because i already have a mod that does this, but well done.

    put in plain english, assuming your using a pc (sorry if this is unclear as to where files are; im on a mac) all you have to do is go to appdata and go to the minecraft folder. there should be a bin folder with a file called minecraft.jar; you know where it is if you modded it yourself. just delete that file and start minecraft; it will download a new one. to update mods just go back to the thread that you got it from and they have probably released an update.

    Pretty self explanitory, but wouldnt it be cool to have some type of block that when powered would provide light and when unpowered wouldnt? I mean the redstone torch give light mod is great and all, i just think a new block would be better. one that doesnt count as a power source. hopefully compatible with risugami's modloader. think of it; you could use risugami's little light sensor mod someplace, then put a redstone wire to one of these blocks with a "not" gate in the middle. The result? Streetlamps that turn on at night. I have alredy implemented this using lightstone and bridgeblocks, but an actual block would be so much easier.

    some ideas for the crafting of it; either have
    [] [] []
    [] :YFlower: []
    [] :|: []
    to make a torch like object, with the :YFlower: being lightstone dust, or
    :Iron: :Iron: :Iron:
    :Iron: :Yellow: :Iron:
    :Iron: :Iron: :Iron:
    with the :Yellow: being a lightstone block.

    oh and also the v2 seems not to be compatible with the bridgeblocks v2.3 mod, which quite frankly i like better... also can you make another version of the v2 that brings back the instant mining? thats the main reason i like this mod.

    Overall, awesome mod though.

    and im gonna be like Creeper and ask for a 32x PLEASE i have tried to make my own but i am fail...

    or do you just mean as a flail? that would be interesting. Although the way you described it in the original post gave me another idea; what if there was an arrow mod that made it so that when you shot the arrow it would use up string in your invy or add a new item, rope, crafted like this:

    [] [] []
    and make it so that when you shot the arrow and it hit a wall it would create a spiderweb type line that, assuming you had enough rope, you could use as a one-way minecart track like a zipline.

    just looked at the terrain.png... the nuke mod is going to look BIZZARE if i use this, but thats okay. but could you possibly make it compatible? teh nuke fills up the first 3 spaces now occupied by :Red: :Blue: :Yellow:.

    so, i was modding, and my minecraft.jar file magically dissapeared. i have no idea where it is. i was trying to use the backed up file and now i cant open minecraft; which sucks because i did a school project using it.

    I have already tried opening it, however it isnt downloading the files from the site.
