I think it would be an interesting idea if you could customize fireworks. I thought of two ideas for it.
Option 1: Banner Like Editing
I literally mean exactly like banners, with each of the same crafting recipes to over lap the image already there. Each of the banner edits would be there.
Option 2: Intricate Fireworks Editor
You could make a fireworks editor block with stone in the outside 8 spaces and any color dye in the middle. You could right click it to open up a place that would have a small 10x10 (or 20x20, but I thought that might be to big) grid on the top right, a spot for a firework on the left, and a done button on the bottom. You would have to have dye on your mouse to select each pixel and color it in the grid. This is what color you would be using. Each dye would have 20 uses, with a durability bar on the bottom. The fireworks would go up and look like what you drew.

I recently thought that it would be easier to change skins if you had a folder for them, that you can change it like a resource pack. It would be nice to be able to have a specific spot for changing skins, so you could change them whenever you want and you don't have to go through the whole process of changing a skin. This is a small change, but one I think would be nice.
EDIT: OK, I get that you can't just drag it over into the folder, but why can't it just keep that skin in a spot on the options. It would be nice to be able to keep all your skins in one place.

As Sam dropped a torch onto one of the houses, he looked around at all the destruction and his only thought was of whether he would get a promotion or not. That was the only way he could stomach all the burning. Somewhere, someone yelled fire. He was instructed not to kill anyone unless they resist, so he was careful to make sure there was no one inside the buildings he burned. Somewhere, some mobs noticed the fire and yelled about it.
