Really what I want is a simple, small server, with not a lot done to it in terms of creative builds. I'm fine with bukkit or vanilla but just not too many plugins. i want to play the game the way it was made.
plugins i like:
-Essentials
-Factions
-Mob arena
-McMMO
But i have been playing for a few years. heres one of my survival builds on an old server
So lemme know if you have one of these types of servers thanks. oh and im 17.... if that helps at all

I dont know about you guys but big servers are annoying to me. Plugins are a great thing but they are far too overused in the big premium server. I'm looking for a server with about 20-30 slots. I also have a few friends who would play also.
IDEAL PLUGINS:
-essentials
-factions
-creeper heal
-mcmmo
-sign shop
-mob area would be a plus too
Hopefully a relatively newly spawned server without the gigantic "Spawn Cities"

I've been playing for roughly 7 months (running a server most of that time) so i do have experience

sorry for not getting back to you. i think the issue is that you have to port forward. 25565 -> 25565 and run it on that port. look it up online and you should find an easy tutorial. just try youtube. its pretty simple but it gets a lot more users than hamachi server would. hamachi is a big turn off for a server.
Could try a glass block covering or try using fences to fill in the spaces between the blocks and connected to the standing fence to give it a structural sound look.
hmmmmm maybe. i wanted to find a way to incorporate lamps in 1.2 really thats what my server is right now just a test and a way to experiment. i also thought o putting stone between the glowstone in order to connect it but then i was wondering if that may take any of the efficiency away
Looks pretty darn good! I give a 7/10 as well. One thing that turned my stomach though was the floating glow stone over the farm but that just me being a floating block Nazi.

but if you have a solution you should definatly let me know because i dont relly like it like that
Honestly I think it's alright. I definitely see the effort you put in it but it's a very generic build. Square base, and a pointed roof made up of triangles...

It needs some sort of spark, plus I'm not a huge fan of wood buildings.
Suggestions if I may:
1) water flowing off the sides into a 1 block hole. (prevent further spreading.)
2) More elaborate walkway, maybe some 'street lightes'
3) some colors inside (preferably green) So it's easily viewable from outside through the windows.
4) plants sticking of the house. One brick with rose or dandelion on it.
5) replace some corner bricks with jackolanterns or glowstons.
yeah i put down red carpet which actually looks pretty BA
and water... ehhh it always looks bad when i try that stuff
yeah some flowers and bushes and i like me corners
