Not to be rude but.... Honestly Its getting really hard to wait, Kevin. Taking into account the time I spent waiting to play on the Siegecraft server and this server I've been waiting patiently for 17 days as of today. After all this waiting you can't at least throw out a status report? A quick rundown of xyz on what still needs to be completed? I imagine that after the 11 days this thread has been active for that most of the preparations have been long completed.

If there's really a lot of stuff needing to be completed then why not accept the help offered by people here? Quite a while ago I offered to help get things up and running, but y'all declined. Others have offered the same help and y'all have also declined their help.

I know you, or someone else, said that it is harder to coordinate things when you have a lot of people to work with. At the same time people aren't unreasonable to work with. Me for example. If you'd allowed me to aid with building all I'd have required was a building type, size, style, and materials and I'd be able to do the work autonomously. I'm sure I'm far from the only one capable of such a task. As far as the other things are concerned you're not the only one that knows how to code, or establish a website, or write lore, or make up the artsy stuff (banners and whatnot) that would go with the website and signatures and the other things.

There are plenty of intelligent and talented people here, and it's really hard for me to justify a long-term wait like this when there are plenty of able-bodied people willing to help get things rolling faster.

Besides.... with y'all being very hush-hush about the status of things it makes it all the more difficult to see why things are taking as long as they are to complete.

Motives, values, abstract concepts such as love and fun and freedom, etc. are all subjective (meaning they vary in definition as much as people vary in individuality).

What one person wants may vary greatly from what others want. It may ruin other people's fun, but it cannot be said with certainty that, for any random individual playing as a demon, that it would ruin specifically their fun to allow some non-human into the nether. It may be very much in-line with their idea of fun.

For example:
Suppose one of the demons is business-minded and desires a bit of help for gathering stock from the nether with the aid of a non-demon business partner/associate? They couldn't just ask some other random demon to do their dealings without sacrificing some of their profits for the sake of incentives, and then there's the issue of trusting strangers and whatnot.

There are an infinite amount of scenarios that could involve a demon desiring to bring non-humans into the nether for purposes outside of corruption and the like, but that's not the point.

The point is that subjectivity is the dominating factor here.

The secret would be an informational economic good at that point; unless once one demon told someone and that someone just started jabbering about it to everyone and their mother (thus the secret loses most of its value).

3. Assuming that the demons are not 100% evil, mistrustful, xenophobic, etc. then we can also assume that these demons will make friends with people of other races. They shall grow to trust these friends. Rather than buying the secret; these friends could be shown purely out of trust. Charisma and persuasion go a long way (see: USA political elections). The motives of the friend(s) and the demon(s) involved are irrelevant. All that matters is that the event could occur at some point. The likelihood of such an event grows when you consider the number of non-demon players (not that there's necessarily a deficit of demons around).
