Dec 2, 2011kensung posted a message on Notch Steps Down, Jeb Takes Lead Developer Position for MinecraftVery interesting development and I hope this will not be something to regret although honestly I doubt there's many things that can go wrong. Hopefully Jeb will continue to show why minecraft is a awesome game! Good luck and congratulations.Posted in: News

PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT ALPHA ARE ONLY GUARANTEED THE UPDATES FOR THE PC VERSION OF MINECRAFT
They never said anything with the title of Minecraft alpha buyers get for free. While I can understand everyone's issues about it just think for a moment. Since you bought, for example, Modern Warfare 3 on the Xbox 360 does that entitle you to get it on ever other console you own for free? As much as I would love that, it doesn't so please stop whining about it. If you want to complain go whine to EA about the "online pass" To play games like Battlefield 3 online. Mojang and Notch as a whole are one of the generous developers I've seen easiest example of that is every humble bundle notch donates around 2000$ to.
Enjoy the game! - To post a comment, please login.

Ah, sweet. I'll definitely give it a go with my friends when you do! Not much of a lone wolf type guy. xD

It wouldn't be the "worst thing they could do." Or perhaps, in your own opinion and mind it is. If you choose to not buy the game over it, wouldn't hurt Mojang at all. In all actuality I believe there is a group of players that would appreciate being able to use their Xbox avatars to play the game with. I know for one I would like to. Onto the main topic, perhaps they could do what the current Minecraft does in terms of skins where it connects to the Mojang server for your skin and you just need to upload a skin onto the Minecraft site. That's the easiest way I can see them implementing skins. I hope that they we can have three options, be the basic Minecraft "Steve" skin, be your Xbox live avatar, or your own custom Minecraft skin.

On topic: I have never played it but all of my friends have thoroughly enjoyed the game and look on the bright side. No water temple! (I'm pretty sure.)
