You could always go with a perhaps more amusing route, a shulker shell farm. You'll have to get the spawn egg and spawner of course, but after that you can go about building the farm in vanilla and kill them however you like.

No cheating here, grindy tasks are part of big or complicated builds. It's sort of like knitting for me, and I don't mind the repetition. It comes with the feeling of a job well done when complete.
Most recent version of our server's villager trading center: fully automated, with a breeder, villager sorter, 6 potato and carrot farms, 8 wheat farms and a pumpkin/melon smasher farm. All storage is via shulker loaders and the boxes are pumped up to the trading center.
I'm running 6 of Nathan Ryan's improvements to Unarybit's farms in 1.12.2 and they work perfectly. Things to consider: make sure the pressure plate is centered in a chunk, make sure that the hungry villager cannot catch food, using the trap door to keep him back, make sure he started out with no food at all, using a breeder style that prevents babies from catching food from adults, make sure that the one block that updates with the pressure plate indeed is at light level 7.
Zombie spawned with full diamond armor:
Such low chances of finding one. What's even more interesting is that we caught a second full diamond armor zombie a week later, and this one had enchanted armor. They're both in our server hostile mob zoo. Somewhere there is a breakdown of the chances of finding such a spawned mob, so I consider us very lucky.
We have room for more players! Come have a tour and check us out and try out the super awesome bouncy house.
