Huh, then that's obviously new. In all of the versions of AS I have played, which I suppose are 1.7.10, since that is what most mods are made for and as such is the version I use, that isn't the case. And one example of a glitch with it is the glitching into blocks like most entities do, except then the boat gets permanently stuck, because you can't drive it out as you can't drive it through blocks, and you can't dig it out since It is obstructing the breaking of blocks within boat's hitbox. Anyways, just my opinion.

It's not only that, it's also the nonsense of building a big fat chunk of cobblestone and then sailing it away. It's also the fact that AS is super glitchy.

Mostly I was wondering about the 'paddle' to steer a 'ship,' instead of having sizes.

This is a rather outdated video, it seems.

Well, AS is, frankly speaking, horrible compared to this.

I was wondering when I was going to see something about your mods on this. I've expected it ever since I saw your mods.

I predict the rise of battlehoes as a weapon of war, due to the fact that they have unlimited combat durability and can be spamclicked, when enchanted with Sharpness 5 they deal the same damage as a Sharpness 1 sword.

I'm going to say combat. This is going to sound like complete crap to anyone who knows me as a player, as I am mainly focused on PvP, however the combat system is complete crap.. The only places where it is decent is where it has been modified to the point where Vanilla-style combat does not function effectively. In Vanilla combat - pre 1.9, which many mainstream servers still use - you often get accused of cheating for actually using strategy, not just clicking fast and having a good ping. Bring potions? Dishonourable. Use wolves? Can't fight me yourself. Fight with a team? Too scared to 1v1. Actually use that fort you spent hours building? Coward. Snipe them? You used a bow! BOWSPAMMER! And so forth. The way you don't get accused of cheating is by fighting like they are.. And that turns into a money contest. Whoever has a good mouse and keyboard, and can pay for good internet, while also having time to spend learning how to click fast - Yes, I know you think strafing is significant, but it actually is not - will win the fight. An example of a much better combat system than either 1.8 or 1.9's is the LotR Mod's combat system.. Good old 1.7.10, the Last Glory Day of Modded. Instead of weapon choice not mattering - in 1.8 - or being much oversimplified - in 1.9 - there is diversity and your weapon choice has a heavy effect on how you fight. Instead of bows being about getting Power 5, Flame, and Punch 2, there are choices in bows, and some are better for different things. Armour choice has some effect, though it is minimal enough that people do typically go for higher protection in general usage. Combat has been made something that you plan for, and use actual skill, not just a talent of being able to click fast, or in rhythm with a timer.

So, is it possible to keep self-infusions from one body or another, or do you have to do the infusion again if you want it on another life?

What do you mean by this? Do you mean a person it crashes in to? People in its tail? People in its apparent blast radius? Or just that when the firework exists it gives someone poison?

DirtDog, have you been inside a Forest Mansion? They appear to have shrines to the High Birds in them.

It can happen, if I remember right, with deleted worlds not properly being deleted.. Since if they "potato" exists when you create another "potato" it will save it as "potato" and "potato-"

Guys, you can kill other people in MC and they drop their stuff. We should change that, since we don't want to promote murder. Why do you think that people are going to start hunting polar bears in real life because they now drop rugs in Minecraft? The only people naive enough to decide to kill an animal because it drops something nice in the game are the ones who wouldn't be able to kill a polar bear. Are you worried about 8 year olds deciding to go kill polar bears because they drop rugs in Minecraft?

Or be a bowspammer. It may sound stupid to lower PvPers, but it's actually not a lame tactic. Bows were made as a main weapon and balanced to fit into the game as a main weapon. Why is it lame to use the bow exclusively, but not lame to use a sword exclusively?

Those are multi-level blocks.. But complexity. Those were basic, just dividing the block into 8 quadrants and each one being on or off, in essence. This'd require quite a bit more complexity.

I personally think it should be like the Wargskin Rug from the Lord of the Rings mod.

No actual command for that.

In Minecraft, one of my brothers had a texture pack installed. This was back in early alpha. I spent around 4 hours googling how to craft a saddle and trying random recipes since I thought maybe he would tell me how to craft a lightsaber if I told him how to craft a saddle.

I can support it if it is used for the off-hand. Currently, the gloves are nothing but a mindless buff that only costs a very minor amount. If they take the place of a shield, though, they become more balanced for combat.
0
Yes, you did say it was balanced because it was easy to get. "I think that would be the second person's fault. Gloves are so easy to make, so why hasn't he made them yet?" And, no, they aren't different. They're just another mindless booster to people's combat. They don't add any sense of flavor or uniqueness, just something that, if allowed, everyone has to get or be destroyed. And then.. Why? Why should they be added? 1.9 was about adding diversity to combat. It wouldn't just be two people with diamond swords. Why should we take steps to undo it by adding things with no counter, that everyone has to get, or they won't stand a chance?
0
Muffin.. Saying something is balanced because it's easy for everyone to get it is entirely invalid. It's highly easy to download and install kill-aura, x-ray, or other mods usually called hacks. Anyone could do it. That means it must be the fault of the person who hasn't gotten one if they lose to someone who has. After all, hacks are so easy to download, so why hasn't he downloaded them yet? Something can't be considered balanced just because everyone can get it.

Might be practically weightless, except also bulky and annoying. And there's that practically. They have weight.. Why do they make you move faster?
